Benzaclin Log

Hello everyone surprised.gif

My name is Sarah and I'm 14 years old. I have moderate acne, even though I'm pretty young. I've been getting pimples since I was 10, but it started getting bad when I turned 12 cry.gif But I digress. I'll start with my log.

Note: I use Benzaclin once a night, after washing my face with Cetaphil Cleanser. I also use Nivea Moisturizer w/ SPF 20 in the morning to protect my skin from the sun.

WEEK ONE

My skin looks horrible :( Dry & scaly looking! However, I only have two or three active pimples on my chin right now. I used to have at least five all over my face! My hyper pigmentation from previous acne is looking really red. I'm guessing that's from the Benzoyl Peroxide. I'll update again next Saturday?

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the boards!

Its a bit rough at the start of most topical treatments just keep your head up and listen to your skin to see how it reacts to the treatment.

BP does make your face red, start off slow to reduce any irratition.
