Hello!
I am a 25 years old african woman and I have persistent post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after each pimple. I have tried many different remedies like hydroquinone, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, azelaic acid, arbutin, vit C, MSM pills, niacinamide, pycnogenol pills, mulberry and bearberry extracts etc.
Nothing seems to remove the dark spots completely.
The dark spots on my forhead fade fast but the ones on my chin and cheeks can last for 2 years. I get occasional pimples but the dark spots lasts so long so when the old ones have faded , they become replaced with new dark spots. I have never had a dark spot free face since puberty (when my pimples started to appear). Please help me I am so tired of my PIH.

P.S I don't want to try laser, it is too expensive for me.

my family is of african -caribbean desent, so i know what its like. have you using honey, tea tree oil or olive oil? olive olive is my favorite thing to use for scars .after i get a pimple the scar will be gone within 2 weeks. dont forget to scrub and drink lots of water, take your vitamins as well.
