Do Any Products Help With Ingrown Hairs?

I am very prone to getting ingrown hairs that turn infected. I mostly use a beard trimmer on the lowest setting and I still get them. The thing is, the if I pop them I find that the hairs are straight, they aren't curled up, they just grew too deep.

Anyone have any advice?
