the best are non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic stuff, usually products for babies...i use cetaphil cleanser and lotion....... it doesn't add to worsening my acne...... but still it is really based on what works for you best!!!

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.....

A basic wash like Cetaphil or QV. Don't think of a face wash as a means for controlling Acne though.

I agree with water-only face washing. I have tried SO many different products over the years and my face, now 42 years old, is paying for it big time. I switched to water-only face washing about 1 month and a half ago and it's the best thing I've ever done for my skin. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Dr.Woods pure black soap is really good. It is all natural and leaves your face feeling smooth and clean. In time it also helps fade away most marks on your face.

I don't think anyone can say for sure what the best face wash is because everyone's skin differs. I've tried everything under the sun since I was in my early teens and the one that really worked for me was Clean & Clear's Continuous Control. It's 10% BP and also has a bit of menthol in it to soothe and cool your skin as you wash. I also sometimes mix it with Noxema Antibacterial face wash because it gets a good lather and the Clean & Clear doesn't lather at all (though I wouldn't recommend it for everyone as mixing products is usually frowned upon.) Hope I helped!

Oxy Maximum Face Wash is good if you have really stubborn inflamed acne spots. It dries them up fast without too much irritation. You just need to use a good moisturizer along with it.

i used to use st ives blemish scrub and had pretty decent results, though nowadays the scrub is just way too harsh for my skin!

Common gentle washes work well for some people like purpose, cetaphil and cerveve have one i think maybe give them a try.
