Hey everyone, currently on day 3 of only using warm water to beat my acne, trying this for a month, but to the people that have tried it, i just want to know, can it work?, how does it work, like does your skin start to heal itself?, ps, im also 19, 20 in a few months so do you think if i use nothing, my hormones will settle down and it will go away?, thanks.

Dod you just stop cold turkey? Are you changing anything diet wise? Ive tried to stop using stuff in the past and it never works, I can't keep my skin clear without using topicals (I break out after about 5 days really badly).

And no, I do not think your hormones will calm down in just a few months. Takes a long time my friend.

I've tried this, and it was a terrible decision.

It works - for people who don't have acne. It's quite simple.

Your hormones are triggered internally. Whatever you do on the outside will have no effect on hormones.

I really doubt warm water is ever going to dissolve dirt clogged deep in your pores or prevent bacteria from forming under your skin. I would say the minimum would be to just use a gentle facial cleanser daily, nothing extra.
