Just a story I wanna share!
I finished accutane (5 months) and then a week or two later, I came down with an infection but I thought it was just allergies. I felt super hot though and sick, but my thermometer didn't work so I just figured I had a small fever. Anyways, I went to school, and was taking a test. My teacher came up and asked me to go to the nurse because I didn't look to well, and it turns out I was super flushed and sweating!!
I went to the nurse and I had a fever or 103!!
I went to the doctor later and they ruled out the flu and strep, and said it was super crazy for me to have a fever that high and said it was probably from a compromised immune system from accutane!!
I took 3 antibiotics a day and I'm all better now, but I just wanna share that if you feel sick on accutane or shortly after, it could escalate fast and be dangerous!!! My fever was 103 at 8am with ibuprofen recently put in my body...which means it should've been lowered!!
Just a warning! haha.
