So I am kinda concerned, this sounds really weird, but latley I have gotten a bit of a tick, where my whole body just randomly jerks or my face tightens up and I cannot control it. It has gotten a lot worse lately and I have no idea what exactly it is and what is causing it. I am concerned because I cannot stop it and it embarrases me, I havent told my mom and dad because I dont want them to think I am being dramatic, Does anyone know if there is any connection to Acutane and this? I also have been suffering Migranes off and on for the past two months. Just finished my fifth month of pills. Thanks for reading guys! Also my memory has been shot these past couple weeks, someone asks me something or I have a conversation with someone, and I have no recollection of it minutes later. Mom and dad say its because I am not listening, but I swear I do, but it just leaves me. If ANYONE has an answer to my question PLEASE let me know,,, I am kinda worried.

twitching could be cause by you being low in potassium or fatigue, or if you recently started working out it could be caused by muscle hitting a nerve. i started getting migraines too and blamed it on accutane. but I went and got my eyes checked out and it was my vision that was causing the migraines. I also have trouble recalling things but maybe it's because theres other things in your mind...thats the deal with me anyway. memory deteriorates if you're not reading also, so if you just started summer vacation and you haven't been reading that could be it. Maybe you're really noticing these things now because you're trying to relate it to accutane. If they persist then talk to your doctor, it could all be neurological. but they're all normal, they happen, they just shouldn't happens too often.

Yeah just make sure you are getting enough sodium and potassium. Accutane makes your body work extra hard and depletes it of your natural energy, aka potassium, sodium, adenosinetriphosphate (ATP). So eat bananas, drink milk & water, and get that sodium.

A lack in any of the above may cause your sodium potassium ion channels in your cells to work intermittently and "twitch" The twitching is simply your body's way of communicating that it needs more resources.
