My Dht Experiment....help!

So i want to implement PROVEN DHT blocking habits all at once for an extended period of time. Feel free to include me in on any research or facts that contradict me. But what I know is this....
Lycopene is proven to reverse the effects of DHT

My idea is to completely abstain from masturbation/sex, consume copious amounts of lycopene (tomatoe soup, watermelon, v8, etc), and drink 3 glasses of organic, unsweetened green tea daily for an indefinite amount of time. Hopefully others will share what they know about DHT here and help me fine tune my plan before i implement it.

As far as your diet goes, it is worth a shot. But avoiding all meat is not advisable. Lean meat such as turkey and chicken breast is actually quite healthy for the body. However, it would not be a terrible idea to avoid pork, burgers and fatty meats such as fried chicken.

i love your determination, but im going to have to disagree with you slightly, if you research "testosterone spike masturbation" there is tons of information on a spike of hormones that occurs on the 7th day after an orgasm. And personally i have gone 3 weeks, which is the longest (pathetic i know), and i definitely saw the effects of the 7th day but then after that it was smooth sailing. It didnt cure my acne but reduced in noticeably. But yes I do agree that excessive masturbation is generally bad. I play volleyball and whenever I abstain for a while, my joints feel awesome when I jump. But if i have a bad streak of masturbation, they feel really weak and i overall have less energy. Also, yeah i believe that meat shouldn't be completely avoided but the average meat consumption of americans is well over the recommended amount. I think meat should be consumed from sources like fish and chicken and turkey but not as the entire meal! no steak or chicken dinners, just meat occasionally. I also believe we live in a culture in which pornography is incredibly accessible and at the rate that the porn industry is increasing in size, it is becoming detrimental to our society. Nothing against porn, but just in general, excessive masturbation is harmful.

I completely agree with what you said about porn. 30 years ago (before my time) Playboy magazines were considered porn. However in this new age of technology, teenagers and adults can surf for hours on end looking at explicit videos for free daily. The articles I have posted say it all and I am sure you are already aware.

major improvement here! I haven't masturbated in about a month, i've been drinking 1-2 cans of tomato purree and 2 cups of green tea daily. I also read that increasing fiber lowers hormonal spikes in this article.

Gratz on willpower, but not masturbating for long bears an increased risk of prostate cancer and urinary problems. Please consider your health. I would say release once a week should be rare enough to not let DHT levels spike and often enough to keep you healthy. Humans are meant to reproduce.major improvement here! I haven't masturbated in about a month
