sodium lauryl sulfate. If you have sensitive skin and are prone to acne, dermatitis, rosacea, and skin irritations, I would take a look at all your products you use. Hand soap, shampoo, skin cleansers, body wash, toothpaste, etc. I guarantee all of them have SLS in them. I have dermatitis right now, and Im reading online that SLS causes skin irritations for people with sensitive skin. So if you are struggling with any irritation, go all natural. There are plenty of natural products with no chemicals in them.

isnt it made from lauric acid derived from coconut oil?
if you ask me, its a fine natural based detergent.
little cause for alarm here, unless you have some good evidence to the contrary?
or perhaps i am wrong on this one? i think i may be right tho.

there are likely other ingredients you should be more concerned about then sls.

After I stopped using things with sulfates in them my face definitely got better. So I totally agree with the original poster.

Well I only wash my face and hair with water and that problem subsided. I concluded that chemicals were not to my benefit in the long run, SLS free or not.

Something being derived from coconut oil does not make it "natural" by any means.

Just rinse it really well, use your hands like you normally would with shampoo and message it, I have been doing this for months, really healthy and good looking hair to..
