Hi ya'll.

I used to be a regular poster on this board, back in 2009-10. I suffered from CSPD like a lot of you. After about a year of therapy and SSRIs I drastically stopped picking. From 2011 to a few months ago I was doing great. Barely any picking, barely any pimples.

My birth control, Yaz, did an awesome job until my mother found out about the trifold incident of blood clots with the drug. We scrambled around to find a new BC (I use it solely for acne), and after trying this ridiculously weird chewable BC, we found good ole fashioned Ortho Tri Cyclen. I'm about a week in, and all of the switching gave me a nodule, which I haven't had in about a year. Posted Image

Due to other reasons (death of a pet, college preparations, tension at home, tension at school) I began to feel depressed again. I don't want to go out, I feel tired and apathetic, and I'm ridiculously irritable. My skin is breaking out like crazy, which makes me even more depressed.

So basically I'm going to log my progress here. I'm planning on going back on Lexapro. It worked miracles for me a couple of years ago. I'm also going to go on antibiotics for the month of May because my prom is at the end and I am NOT having pimples at prom.

Anyways. Cheerio. I'll update later today. Feedback is much appreciated. I'm pretty bummed. I thought I was done with the depression/picking, UGH!

It's hard to fall back into something you came so far from. Be proud of yourself for posting this bc it's a step in the right direction. Even though we can't control the skin situation, we can choose what to do in response. Love yourself no matter what (:

P.S. I like the quote at the end of your routine.
