My forehead has always been clear, and completely smooth without a hint of blocked pores or acne. I've had problems with my temples before, and the rest of my face, nothing major - but they're fine at the moment too, but recently, probably in the last 2 months, my forehead has been getting worse and worse, and I'm just not really sure what's doing it? My temples also.

I did, KINDA, switch my shampoo for a little while, but my forehead has been no oilier than usual?! And my hairstyle is the same as how it's been for the past 2 years or so, I normally have a fringe.

Can someone suggest something? It's driving me nuts, and with summer coming up I was hoping to have a short haircut and get a little sun on my skin. Like I said, my forehead has always been clear before, but this just randomly started happening in the last few months or so.

Think it could be my shampoo? And have I now completely doomed myself by switching the shampoo? Or can I make this go away?
Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Could be fungal folliculitis. I had something similar a few years ago and got rid of it with dandruff shampoo. Try washing your forehead with Nizoral shampoo once or twice a day (letting it sit for 3-5 minutes) and see if it helps.

Hi, thank you for your reply! I have just bought an anti-dandruff Shampoo, been using it for a week now and no improvement, possible gotten a little worse! I'll give it a few more weeks then see a doctor!?!

personally I saw results very fast, within a matter of days- so maybe it's not fungal. If you think it's making it worse I would stop. Sorry! I hope you find something that works for you!
