I have been using quinoderm 5 cream for my acne and acne marks sometimes it helps but recently it has left me with burns and red marks i read somewhere that salt water is good for all skin injuries so i mixed some salt with aloe vera moisterizer and left it on my skin over night i woke up this morning with quite bad burns in several places I have done this before with only positive effects i don't understand what happened maybe too much salt. Anyway i am using sudocrem to try and heal them is this correct also what else would help heal the burns more quickly and does anyone have any idea why I got them thanks.

Hey Kthorn, not sure if this will help but here goes. I have Rosacea and Serb Derm and tried using Aloe Vera and my face broke out in burns and it looked pretty bad. All the skin then went hard and peeled off and my skin was back to normal underneath... well normal + rosacea and serb derm... anyway i knew i had a balsam of peru allergy (which is a plant) and is basically in everything with taste and colour... I think I probably also reacted to the aloe vera(plant) and i think thats what did it...... not sure but i havent gone near aloe vera again and it never happened again either... get a allergy test and read up about negative reactions to aloe vera... also i dont think puttin salt on your face will help much either.... try coconut oil as moisterizer .. thats natural and less chance of getting a reaction. ... anyway hope thats some help but prob not

here read some of these stories.... http://www.steadyhea...a__t161093.html

My daughter used BP and had a bad reaction with burning. She used hydrocortisone cream for about three days. The burned skin dried up and peeled off. Our esthetician said the hydrocortisone is beneficial but is pore clogging so only use for a few days. She suggested Vaseline for the dry stage when the skin is peeling. Avoid other medications or treatments while the skin is burned. Another piece of advice is not to experiment with your face unadvised. I go to my esthetician for any concerns. She is great and usually spot on. I have used her line of skincare for over 20 years and it's like having a personal consultant all the time.
