So, okay as usual I thought my breakout was clearing up, but I was getting happy too quickly, It seems I just get a new spot every god damn day, I am still kind of healing from the clogged pores I got from using the cetaphil moisturizer, which I think is the cause of quite alot of the spots on my face, so I suppose they are all coming to the head due to that.

I only use cetaphil cleanser in the moring & night then moisturize with anti blemish simple and moisturize with it at night too, but i am thinking to use aloe vera gel at night, however it's not very moisturizing so it kind of leaves my skin in the morning somewhat drier, and thats the last I need, as my skin is really dry, and it seems most of my spots are caused by my really dry fucked up skin, from using the BP.

I am really lost on what to do anymore, and I don't know what to use, so i am just thinking of I keep it simple then perhaps it will clear up on its own, but it's just really hard..

I am also taking vit C in the morning and evening primrose oil, which is supposedly balances hormones, so if my hormones are the cause of my acne, then it should balance out right?

I am also ingesting apple cider vinegar 3 times a day (1-2 tsp) as I read that its good at clearing acne. I am not sure if its working as of yet, it felt like it was a few days ago as my skin looked a bit better, but still un certain.

I'd also like to mention that my forehead is pretty much 98% clear most of the time, but areas I have most trouble is like, around my mouth and lower and all around, like the front of my face, I hardly get them on my cheeks or jawline.

I added a picture to demonstrate where I do get my spots to make it a little more clearer, and perhaps the area I get them can be explain what the cause is and how to treat it.

In the picture I would say I get most of my spots in the 13, 11 and 12 and at the where the bottom white lines are drawn of 5 & 9

I have acne in the same exact spots as you. If i were you I would stop using any cleanser and just use water especially if you say your skin is dry normally. Try washing with water once a day when showering. When you do this DO NOT USE HOT WATER just lukewarm or even on the cold side if possible. DO NOT SOAK your face in it just quickly wet every area and thats it. Then as soon as you jump out of the shower grab a fresh paper towel and dab your face with it. This method will take off all of the excess oils on your face without irritating it. Also, bp ALWAYS broke me out. As soon as I cleared up in one spot I broke out in another. I would completely stay away from it. If you need to spot treat then get a sulfur mask and put a little on only on the spots and leave it on over night. Do this only two times a week at first and slowly increase to 3-4. Cut out dairy and sugar as much as possible. I guarantee if you give this a try you will see results. Everything takes time.

Chin/jawline acne is almost always a hormonal problem. How big are your zits? If they are big, think hormones. If they are very small (like pin prick sized), it could be perioral dermatitis.

Perioral dermatitis is a reaction to your toothpaste. It is easily solved by switching to a Sulfate-Free, Fluoride-Free toothpaste like Squigle.

If you're getting cysts or nodules, then you need to treat the hormone problem. I also tried evening primrose oil some years ago and apparently it was the wrong balance of hormones for me because it made my skin absolutely AWFUL. If you want a natural solution, try 800 IU of Vitamin E a day for a few weeks. If that doesn't help you, look into spironolactone from your dermatologist.

Also, please seriously think about your vitamin D levels. Vitamin D-3 is CRUCIAL for your skin. Unless you are spending at least an hour out in the sun a day, you are probably not getting enough vitamin D-3. My skin has improved greatly since my doctor put me on over the counter vitamin D-3. 10,000 IU a day, softgel orm.

Hey, thanks for the replies.

@redpimples I have tried that before, not using a cleanser, and just water, but my skin just gets way to oily and dirty at the end of the day that I need some kind of cleanser.

I do use lukewarm water, I'm trying to wash quicker so that I am not agrivating it etc.

@Green Gables well, I can get some really big painful ones, I have like 3 painful spots on my chin as of now, and I have no idea why. I am guessing it must be my hormones.. not to mention about a month ago I took a morning after pill, and my friend said that can mess up hormones..

Anyway, I am taking the primrose, and hopefully it will balance it? it could help for me?

I think I will look into the vitamin D thing as well, since I dont get out that much.
