Day 34!!!!

Well I went back to the derm four days ago and got my new prescription :) she thought about upping my dose but since I had a bad IB she decided to wait and see how this month goes.. Hopefully it'll go good, and then I can go up a dose. Anyways my joint/back pain has gone away for now, I've had a headache off and on the past few days though.. Lips are not to terrible right now, it's bearable. I developed a cyst on my right cheek about a week ago and it's still there and it's very painful and big and ugly!!!!! I've squeeze at it, even though I shouldn't had :( its just so ugly and it really hurts my elf esteem.. Hopefully it'll go away soon, I sure hope so! When I rub my fingers across my face I can feel a ton of bumps under my skin they just haven't came up yet.. My derm told me if I broke out again bad To call her and she will give me another prednisone prescription if I thought I needed it. But I've already been on it. Two times in two months.. That can't possibly be good for your body...

I'll post again soon!!

Day 68:::::

Wow, is all I have to say. So far this journey has been a ride.. I've gone from severe breakouts to none at all, to mild. My breakouts are random and come whenever they want lol. I don't have any big bumps I have some small cyst on each side of my chin and thats about it. They have been there since tarting Accutane and just won't go away :( I've also had a bad headache for the past 4 days, with pain in my eyes. Lik when I look around my eyes will hurt and make my head hurt, I'm not sure why :( I also still am having bad mood swings, the last 3 days hav been awful. If Simone say the slightest rude thing to me I'll go off. I don't know why, I can't even stand to hear myself bc I'm alway bitching about something :(

My face still isn't very dry, but the rest of my body is.. I went to a water park about a week ago well over a week ago nd got pretty sunburnt but I didn't think I would burn because I still am pretty dark and still lay in the tanning bed.. But I only stayed red for maybe a day then it turned into a tan I guess.. But today my legs are peeling bad. Idk why I'm assuming where I had gotten sunburnt it's just now making me peel.. Idk but it's pretty sick looking lol. I've been noticing my eyes are soooo dry and they hurts soo bad. They seem to Bother me more when I'm at work, they become real dry,red and painful.. I'm alway afraid someone is going to ask what wrong with my eyes..
But I'll post again later!
But no other real changes, still have dry lips, nothing to bad though.l

LOL.. nah .. im just buggin. Posted Image

I dont know if its Accutane related or not but when I get mad I stop.. take a breath and ask my self
what im so irritated about and if it was worth getting upset or not. I found that as long as I knew
I was mad, I could calm down and think about the next words that came out of my mouth instead of just
shouting about stuff.

If you find your getting irritated just stop.. take a step back.. and breath.
If your really frustrated, hit a pillow, kick the dog ...Posted Image .... no wait! Don't do that Posted Image ummm... take a deep breath and
count to 10.. and just, calm down.

Your almost halfway done the Accutane roller coaster. It will be over before you know it!

Have you been remembering water? As for your eyes, what kind of lighting do they use at your work
and what do you use at your home?

I found that the cheep tube florescent lights they use in most building and the energy saving coil bulbs
at home really started irritating my eyes. It has gotten to the point sometimes where ill just shut the office lights
off and open the blinds to let the sunshine in instead.

At home with the 2 socket lights I left 1 energy saver in and replaced the second socket with a old
soft bulb.

On top of it all... eye drops and a humidifier are awesome. If my eyes ever felt dried out I just
steam them and they feel pretty good for a few hours.

Ehh I guess your right I should prob. Try that. But when I'm mad or in a bad mood I don't think I just go off on whatever I can..l :( its awful, it really is. She's I have a puppy and he will not house train and it really makes me ad, that he will pee in the floor right in front of me, so I might just kick him. Just kidding I love him to much, hahah:)

I've also had a bad headache for the past 4 days, with pain in my eyes. Lik when I look around my eyes will hurt and make my head hurt, I'm not sure why

And about the lights I don't know what kind they use but my eyes always hurt at work, I'm guessing it could be the lights there..l but I work at Walmart so I can't shut off the lights there, or that would be bad lol but I use eye drops alllll the time. I use the artificial tears, it feels so amazing. But thanks for the help :). My other post is quoted up there opps lol

Walmart definitely uses the crap cheep florescent tube lights. The most irritating lights known to anyone
on or off Accutane. This is going to sound funny but if your at a register, buy a cheep $5 lamp with a soft 40watt
light bulb, plug it in and turn it on. It will help in countering the effects of Walmarts lights on your eyes. If your
supervisor asks what your doing, just tell them its to help see.

As for puppy... well... im sure im going to take some heat for saying this but, I had a puppy that
wouldn't house break for months. Tried positive reinforcement, treats, everything
Finally one day I got mad at the dog for crapping on the fresh shampooed
carpet that I just washed from the last crap and I lost it. Grabbed the dog and rubbed his nose
in it then threw him outside. After that, the dog never crapped or piss in the house again.

I have also had a dog that just couldn't help peeing in the house. She had separation
anxiety and if you didn't get her outside as soon as you got home, you would step in a puddle.
She would simply pee out of excitement of you getting home.

I crate all the dogs I have owned and between carrying them from the crate to the door
as soon as I got home and making sure the dogs get out side frequently, accidents in the house happen
rarely.

Day78!!!

About everything is still about the same as if it was before. My face is breaking out very little. But I still have the small cyst in each side of chin, I also developed a bump above my lip which really hurts!!! My lips arnt to dry, just use Chapstick all the time. My eyes havnt been as dry as before but they are still kinda dry.. My face still has a red tint to it, but it looks 100 times better now then what it did before starting. I havnt had any negative side effects from accutane. I avice anyone suffering from acne to give Acutane a try!

Ehh, hmm I say mine started to clear up around two months, I was also on Prednisone though.. 30mg seems kinda low though, how bad is your acne? I mean when I started mine was bad,bad,bad.... Im on day 97 now, I think. I still have cyst on my chin, just got over a huge yucky one on my cheek :/ my overall complextion though is just so much better then its been in a long time! I have pictures ive took through the whole thing, im waiting to post at the end of my Accutane journey! If I have the nerve to post the first ones lol
But just hang in there give it a few more months and you will be amazed! Its a hard and long journey, but itll be well worth it in the end!

Day 97
Well im on day 97 I believe im not totaly for sure but I think so. I still have some cyst on my chin on both sides, they wont seem to go away :/ I had a huge cyst on my cheek it staied there for about 2 weeks, finally it went away! Ive got a little bump on the side of my face near my eye. Also, blackheads ive never had a problem with them till now! My nose has so many on it, ive been using the blackhead strip thingys.. My overall complextion is omg, its so different waking up every morning and looking in the mirror its so different.. Its like im a different person then I was 3 months ago.. Its unbelievable, how such a so called "bad drug" has became a miracle and my bestfriend.. My scars have faded tremindously, I think im going to post a before picture and a picture at 4 months without makeup im just so nervous because it was so bad....

Thank youuu! And really? Thats wierd, I took pred, twice while on Accutane and once before starting Accutane.. I say about a month, then on the second month I went off the pred. and was soo scared my face was going to break out awful but it didnt. Thank god, It started clearing up about half way through the second month, actually now that I think about it, it prob. didnt really start clearing up till first of the thrird month.. But as you can see mine was afulll..

hopefully the derm will put you back on Accutane when you go back, thats wierd that they took you off just for the pred. hmmm.

Yes that's what I'm sayin'!
But I'm telling you I saw ur IB and mine is worse, and it probably took me off tane because with the pred i'm taking 2000mg daily of a strong antibiotic
Do you think if i stop tane it will affect me somehow?
