So I' not gonna give my whole long sob story. Although, if you wanted to hear most of it it's in the hormonal logs forum. I'm on 150 mg of spironolactone. I've been on spiro for 99 days today. Probably about 1- 1 1/2 months on 150mg, before that 100mg, and for the first two weeks or so just 50mg. Spiro is supposed to help TREMENDOUSLY with oily skin basically right away. While I have noticed a decrease I can't say I'm not oily anymore. I have a theory that a lot of it has to do with my obsession with my skin which has lead to trying numerous products on top of all the prescriptions and topicals from my derm. More often than not my face is raw, irritated, red, and shiny. I always thought I was CLEAN because of that, although logically I knew it was wrong. I do believe the oil I have in the T-Zone could be contributed to the over-exfoliation. Due to all this exfoliation I've done I often have dry skin as well, which means I load up on the moisturizer. I use CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion btw, day and night. I often feel greasy from this though. How much moisturizer are you supposed to use? Is it normal to feel greasy from moisturizer or is it just my oily face? Can moisturizer make you look shiny in certain lighting or could it be my topicals? Is spironolactone even supposed to get rid of ALL the oil? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Wash with CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser (GENTLY and PAT DRY)
Aczone (A PEA SIZE AMOUNT)
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

Night:
Shower-
Wash with CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
Wash back and chest with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday-
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (Let Dry)
Retin-A Micro 0.1% Cream (A PEA SIZE AMOUNT)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Differin 0.3% Gel (A PEA SIZED AMOUNT)
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion
