I have a 4 day time gap between the day I run out of pills and my next doctor check up/refill. Will this complicate or ruin my progress?

Nope, it's fine. I'm in the middle of a course right now and I didn't take it at all for four days either. Once I got home I resumed the course as normal and didn't notice any adverse effects. Don't quote me on this but I believe Accutane stays in your system for two weeks anyway.

The A vitamin is a fat soluable vitamin, it is stored in the fat cells in your body and liver, and it will stay there for a long time. 4 days without the A vitamin won't be a problem for you.

I was off for at least 5 days because an insurance issue, this was into my second month when it happened and I noticed my skin and hair starting to get oily again (that was quick!!) also my lips were less chapped as the days went on without it.

This happened to me a couple days early in my course. And while it frustrated me I was fine. What I did to prevent this was by scheduling my appointment a couple days before my monthly supply ended.
