Hi all,
I've been using Maybelline's Fit Me liquid foundation and powder (even before starting Accutane) but I'm finding that with the increased dryness and peeling of my skin, that the makeup looks awful soon after applying because my skin is just so flaky. Even putting moisturizer on before the makeup (and even after) isn't helping.
Can anybody recommend a foundation that covers well and works well for extremely dry and flaky skin? I'm open to any kind of suggestion, however I've never used mousse before so I don't know how that works.
Thanks!

Also, I'm from Canada os I think that limits some good makeup brands/products (I've read that Revlon Colorstay is a good foundation however it doesn't appear to be sold in Canada, same with Clinique).
Actually, never mind about this. I'm open to any suggestions. I'm only a couple of hours away from the border and could easily run down to the U.S. to buy a makeup product not sold here!

I suffer from eczema and folliculitis. My face gets pretty flaky at times so my aesthetician recommended a Clarisonic brush to help with exfoliation. I was on antifungals and Differin which turned my face into crocodile skin! The brush work after a week or so and remains very soft. I use it twice a day and even if I get eczema patches it goes away much more quickly with my medicated creams and exfoliating twice daily.
I'm just suggesting this because maybe finding the right make up is not the solution but ridding yourself of the flakiness.

Clinique's Moisture Surge. I'm on Accutane right now and that the Clinique Moisture Surge is amazing.
Wear moisturizer under your makeup too of course but make sure you let the moisturizer absorb first. The foundation ends up looking really shiny if I don't wait long enough after putting on moisturizer. Then you have to use powder which will end up making your skin dry.
You can get a sample to try at Belk or Macy's. That's what I did before buying it.
