I have mild seborrheic dermatitis. Its around my nose, upper lip, and chin. My skin was very dry and flaky on my chin and when the flakes fell off they left brown discoloration marks. I do get pimples in that area too. Derm gave me Ketoconazole (nizoral) shampoo for my scalp and told me to rub it on the areas of my nose that are red. Would it be ok to do the same thing to my chin? Would it help with the redness/ discoloration?
