Congrats on getting your braces off! 3.5 years is a long time, so I bet it was very exciting.

Also, the red marks do appear to fade faster on accutane due to the skin flaking and regenerating faster. I notice that red spots where acne was tend to flake for weeks after they go away.

It was! I keep looking at them in the mirror haha. and That makes me very happy! I'm very excited to do this course and can't wait for the side effects to kick in so I know it's doing it's thang.

I know one person can answer this I haven't gotten any side effects yet it only being two days, but would it better to start moisturizing now? I don't moisturize my skin because it's so fsdklfjsdlkfj, but would it be better to start sooner or wait until it gets dry, dry, dry?

Holy crap we do have a ton in common! Maybe we're secretly twins? and day 2 is going good! nothing different, I'm hoping to actually have a couple side effects eventually. Haha that must be it! And thats good to hear. I dont think much would be happening by day 2 though anyways really. And i told you my side effects already on my log so i guess i dont need to list them again for you haha Yeah i really hope its not horrible around prom. Yeah after would be way better, but im not sure cuz around prom i will have been on it over a month already and after just seems soo late for an IB yanno? Hmm so i'll just have to wait and see. Oh well yesterday there was a big group of us at this fancy restaurant for my friends birthday dinner, and then when we were passing out the cake n stuff to eat the waitress came out and said 'i have a special one for you!' and i was just like whaaaa..? And then it was a big square piece of cake that said "prom?" written all fancy and what not on it. Haha everyone was staring at me. like the whole entire restaurant was quiet just waiting for me to answer. (cuz it was like a small Italian restaurant thing) and the first thought that popped into my head was 'shitt how awkward would this be if i said no..' then i was like oh god i should answer already cuz it seemed like i was thinking so hard about it and he looked nervous. hahahh but then of course i said yes and everyone was all like yaayy and clapped, yanno the whole 9 yards. haha man sorry that was a longer explanation that i intended on... hahaa

Wow, I just noticed you're taking 80mg right from the start and for 6 months. You aren't lying when your derm says she likes to go big. I thought I had bad acne and I started the first month with 40mg then the second month with 60mg.

But I hope the extra dosage you're receiving will help get rid of it once and for all.

NeedaMiracle! That is the cutest thing in the entire world, and extremely unique! I never heard of a story like it, and you are a lucky girl! But hey, us amazing girls need good guys My boyfriend and I have been together a year and a half, and I'm very lucky to have him to support me while I do this course. I hope your day has gone great!

White Stang - I know I was in shock! My weight is 114lbs, as I may have said or not in the first post, I forgot and I'm too lazy to look at the moment, so I hope that doesn't cause anything extreme. When I got my Claravis prescription it said 40mg and I was like "hmm okay not bad." And then when the pharmacy gave me two boxes (60 pills) I was like uhh.. and realized I was taking 2 a day, THEN I was like Omg.. this is going to be very very very very VERY interesting. Day 2 is done, woohoo! How are you doing?

I started to moisturize right away. I don't know why.. My face didn't soak anything in for like a week after I started. Still only a couple parts of my face are actually dry. My chin and temples and eyelids. So I mainly focus on those parts when I do moisturize morning and night. I would just wait, if your skins not dry no point in it.

Haha yeah i thought it was pretty cute too myself if i might say so Yeah i am pretty darn lucky, and sounds like you are too! Wow a year and a half? Tomorrow, actually, will be mine and my boyfriends 6 months, so much shorter than yours haha but its still nice. Yes that is so true, we do! Ha and yeah that is great.<3 My bf has acne too so its nice being with someone that understands yanno? Its been good, hope yours was as well!

Yes it was good! Flourescent lighting for endless hours at work gave me a headache though haha! It's my second day at Marshalls (retail store). My boyfrined is the same, so I know he understands, and 6 months is a a long time! Congratulations!

I figured since I don't have any updates on my skin, I'd do 10 random facts about me just for fun, and join along people!

1. I have two cats - Kittywitty and Bubbles!

Bubbles is the calico baby, and Kittywitty is the white persian - I honestly love them to death.

2. I am OBSESSED with candles. I have 25 right now, and want 10,000 more.. My favorite is hazelnut cream from Walmart.

3. I love Friends, the television series. I have all 10 seasons.

4. I love reading, I don't have a lot of books, but the library does I've spent a lot of time there.

5. I love carbs! I love pasta, pizza, donuts, bread, lasagna, all of it. I would eat it 24/7 if it were healthy for you!

6. I love to sleep, but only if I can go to bed really late and sleep in really late.

7. I have a boyfriend of 1 and a half years, and he has become my best friend.

8. I've moved 21 times in my life, and I'm only 17 , a lot of packing, which makes me HATE packing, even if it's just to go to a friend's.

9. I have acne, and it's made me who I am today. It's been a burden but a blessing at the same time. Accutane is going to make this shit disappear, which will be the best blessing. It may have shaped me for who I am, but I'm ready for it to leave. I WILL NOT miss it.

10. I love giving advice and talking to people. I love comforting them, even if I have issues of my own, I'd rather focus on their's. I am here for all of you, so message me anytime or comment below.

Aw thank you Well it was from milwaukee to hartford to appleton to hartford again, to california, back to milwaukee, then kewauskum, to milwaukee, to west bend. And then in milwaukee we moved to 3 different places, then hartford we moved to 3 different places, california we moved to 2 different places, kewauskum we moved to 2 different places, then west bend we moved to 5 different places! There are a few more, but that's when I was very, very young. Thankfully we've been living at the same house for 3 years now and it's going to stick that way! How have you been?
