Hey,

Just a quick question to any current/previous Accutane users. I saw my derm today and he's raised my dosage. My question is, as the title suggests, will I have another huge breakout like when I started Accutane? I'm really not sure I could handle going through that again.. my IB was really bad.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to get a good moisturizer and moisturize even if the surface of skin doesn't feel dry. The skin reacts to dryness by boosting sebum production which causes the outbreak.

I upped from 40 to 60 with no real noticeable change in side effects. Lips a bit drier, that's about it. However, I never got a breakout when I started anyway.

Hi I recently was upped from 40mg to 50mg and i went through the breakout process all again, bit of a pain in the arse

I'd be interested in this as well! I'm seeing my derm in 2 weeks and I'm wondering if he will up my dosage to 80mg...
