It says mild to moderate. I think I have more between moderate and severe acne. I'm just wondering if anybody with acne comparable to mine has had any success.

Hi,
I don't have acne like yours, mine is more on the mild, but persistent side. I don't really see much scaring from the pictures, just looks like you have really inflamed acne. How old are you? You look fairly young, so you probably don't scar that easily yet. Did you see a dermatologist yet? You should have him/her put you on accutane, and then try laser once you're clear Because there's no point on doing a laser treatment if you don't have acne under control.

I think he meant laser/ therapy for getting rid of his acne. (like PDT w/ levulan, Smoothbeam..)

Have you tried the Regimen yet? It works REAALLY well if you follow it to the letter. Don't change a single thing and do everythingg exactly right and you'll be clear in no time. I'd say a month or two and it will save you a lot of money (lasers are very expensive).

Yeah, that is what I meant. I'm having a lot of trouble getting rid of it and I don't want to use accutane. I just think its a big risk to take. I hope my scaring won't be too bad, I'm nearly 19.

I tried using BP before, but it stopped working. I'm working with beta carotene, omega D-3, and neutrogena face wash right now and it seems to slowly be working, so hopefully I can fix it that way. If not maybe I'll have to give BP and the regime a try again.

Well for the light/laser treatments, I have seen before and after pictures of people with skin like yours get pretty clear with these treatments. But I have also heard people on here say that these treatments are a waste of money and do nothing. So some people get good results while others do not. I feel like if you consider doing these treatments you have to realize you could be wasting your money! But you won't have serious side effects like you could with Accutane. Also these light/laser treatments are not permanent, you have to go back usually 6-12 months later and get a "touch up" treatment.

I guess its something worth looking into then, but if a lot of people don't get good results I might as well try a few other treatments before I get this one, especially since it isn't permanent and kind of costly. Thanks for the info.
