Hello! New to this forum. Looking forward to learning more, and posting. However, I was on the Acne.Org Regimen for a few months. While it did help clear me up, I'm slightly afraid it wasn't helping my Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. There are many studies that show that Benzoyl Peroxide can actually PROLONG PIH and make it worse! I have somewhat tan skin, and PIH is more noticeable and harder to eradicate on darker skin types. Most of my current acne is cleared up (still have just a couple pimples, WAY smaller now than they used to be). I'm currently on a Holistic Healing method. I've been on a diet for over 2 weeks, and it's effects are already being noticed. (No dairy, No gluten, no fastfood, Focusing on Whole Foods) I ditched all the chemicals, and now use only Manuka Honey, Apple Cider Vinegar, and JoJoba Oil (This stuff gives an especially great look and feel to the skin. I no longer have a shiny-oily face!) My PIH is causing me -SO- much stress and depression. It's especially worse on the right side of my face. It's very important I get rid of this as soon as possible. I would love some advice, and have included photos so people can get an idea. Any recommendations would be especially helpful. Thanks!

Hey,

I had pretty bad red and brown marks as well and my skin just does not like to let those go. I went for an IPL Photo Facial about a month ago and also started using Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer. What a difference! My marks faded so much! The moisturizer is quite affordable (about $50) but IPL treatments are pretty expensive ($200 and up per session). However, I think it's worth the money. Hope this helps.

I did microderm (but I heard the hydra facial is the best. I have yet to do it.) I also use the Clarisonic with M2 cleanser plus Philosophy's Miracle Worker spot corrector and M2 refinishing serum at night. I had dark spots from January that were almost black that are now barely visible. Hope this helps!
