I am 14 and have moderate acne all over my face. I went too see a dermatologist 3 weeks ago and he prescribed me Epiduo gel and doxycycline. After the first few weeks my skin had noticeably cleared up but in the last few days i broke out again. I have already had my initial breakout so i have no idea what could have caused this. any ideas??

go back and talk to your derm you may need something stronger.i know it sucks but talk to your derm.do you drink soda?or fast food?if so stay away from them.not saying thats what it is but it doesnt help.some things work for some people and others it doesnt.I wish you luck!

What you know as "initial breakout" is the skin's reaction to dryness: it will boost its oil production. You can avoid it with proper moisturizing.
However, the only known permanent cure for acne is Isotretinoin (accutane, roacuttan etc) and it kicks ass. My biggest regret is that I tried all the other cures such as benzyl peroxide and antibiotics first and wasted a lot of time.
