I bet you are!! That is going to be a amazing day with clear skin! I must see a photo of u in your dress
I bet you are going to look gorgeous! So excited for you. Have you found the right makeup yet?
I will post a photo after the wedding!
So, I tried the tinted moisturizer two more times and I didn't break out! I think it was just accutane, but I'm not sure I'm 100% satisfied with the coverage so I'm probably still going to get some Clinique samples tomorrow.

Waaa Kaydon I'm sorry about your herpe pimple ;( Is it the only onee? Cause if so, that's AWESOME!
It's probably not as bad as I am making it out to be, but it's still annoying. But YES, it's my only one! I am verryyy happy about the rest of my face!
Kaydon, BOOO for lip zits! I'm so sorry! So painful. I hope it is as bad as it's going to get and that now it will start healing! I hear you on the fatigue too...I slept for 2 hrs in the middle of the day yesterday and 10 hours last night... And I've got the bad headaches too
I hope you feel better soon!
Taylor, you are such a cutie and a beauty! I'm so happy for your clear skin!
It has gotten better!
Ugh - the fatigue from this drug has been bugging me lately. I am always sleepy. This headache was so bad yesterday, but it finally went away after I ate and took a hot bath. I was miserable yesterday. I feel better after 9 hours of sleep though.
Katie, I totally had a nasty headache last night, but I also had a glass of white wine with dinner and my pills, which I know is a big no-no. Haven't you drank a bit of alcohol during your course? What happened to you? I felt like POOP last night. I need to not drink, but it's hard when there are like 6 open bottles of wine in your fridge! haha You guys/somebody need to come over and drink all this wine for us!
Ugh - I get headaches often, but this one was so bad that I didn't want to move. Then when I bent over my whole head started throbbing.
I have drank throughout my entire course. (I just re-read that sentence and it makes me seem like an alcoholic. By my entire course I mean maybe once every few weekends.)
I've been drinking in moderation since one night (when I first started) in April I drank way too much and blacked out. I've also been trying to stay away from liquor. I've never been a really big wine drinker! My mom certainly is though. I've been trying to stick with beer, because I feel like I know my limits with beer better than anything else. I've been good with the beer, too! I drank 7 in one night and didn't even wake up the next day with a hangover, which was pretty damn awesome because I feel like I always get hangovers.

I think today is day 131? Not completely sure, haha. I'm getting up there in days now.
Things are turning around. The under the skin bumps that turned into zits are pretty much gone. The one on my bottom lip is healing. The other one that was on the corner of my lip is gone, as well as the one I had on my chin. Bye bye, zits, you're not welcome on this face anymore. Anyways, things are looking great! I am very happy with my skin. I put up a picture of myself yesterday on Facebook after I got ready, and afterwards I thought "Damn, my skin is looking so much better!" It's just amazing...because I think back to when I started this course, and I wouldn't want to go out of the house let alone post a picture on the internet. I feel myself again, and I'm so happy about that. Last night I went to a friends party and I went night swimming with everyone. I didn't have any concern about my makeup coming off and people noticing my bad skin. I felt great yesterday about myself. I put on a cute sundress that I haven't wore in years, and did my makeup all nice. I wore eyeshadow for the first time in months. It's been a long time since I've really been happy to do makeup. I remember the days when I would cringe with disgust as I slathered concealer all over the nasty zits during my IB. I seriously used so much damn concealer. It's such an amazing thing to be able to just use my concealer on the few remaining red spots, and underneath my eyes. Concealer is expensive, so it's nice to save some money on makeup.
Also, I've noticed that my skin looks better than others now. I know that sounds kind of vain, but for some reason I've been paying attention to the condition of others skin. I felt bad yesterday because there was a girl at the party I went to and I noticed her forehead looked like mine before I went on Accutane. Poor girl.
My skin is still so fragile. I itched my arm last week and it immediately turned into a raw red spot where I itched. Then, it turned into a flaky scab looking thing. Nice to know I can't even itch myself without looking like I got torn up by a rabid animal, haha.
So I am SORE. I went out Friday and danced for a long time, then last night I was doing continuous dives into the pool while night swimming. I am definitely out of shape...and I know Accutane doesn't help with soreness. I feel like I got a full body workout, haha.

Sorry I've been MIA again. I pulled an 12-9 shift yesterday, and an 11-530 shift today, but thankfully I'm off for two days!
TODAY IS THE 2 WEEK MARK FOR NO BREAKING OUT.
Everything is starting to look amazing too. All my scabs are gone, except for 1 stubborn one, but it's a scab so I DON'T CARE
It feels amazing to wash my face too, I literally smile almost every time I'm washing it hahah
How is everyone? I noticed that we are all getting clearer and clearer! This stuff is the shiattttt!

2 weeks - that's wonderful!
I noticed that about having pretty great skin now, too. I feel bad when I see people with acne. My skin is so matte and barely ever oily throughout the day. It's fantastic. I've heard some people become less dry after their course, which is okay since I'm almost too dry right now, but I hope we continue to have good skin days foreevvveeeerrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!
I'm happy you put on eye shadow and felt so beautiful!
I am on the "too dry" scale right now but I REALLY hope that I won't go back to "waaaay too oily" post-accutane. I just want to be "normal"...whatever that is. The most important thing is to stop breaking out!

It makes me very happy when I see that you guys are clearing too. Seriously, we have come a long way.
This is my face at day 32, 100 days ago....compared to tonight, day 132.

To anyone going through their IB -- hold on. It gets better. I promise.

My red marks are so much worse than yours, so to the untrained eye it looks like acne still ya know? I have to figure out a way to get these to fade. I wish I could do something now while on accutane. Who knows though I am sure they will look better come next month when I finish my course, ( I think I will finish then anyways) I see my derm next week and I will figure out when the end of my course will be. She is so wishy washy about it everytime. Since I haven't even been clear a week and a half though I am pushing for atleast 6 months, I wouldn't mind 7. I don't think she will let me do 7 though, I'm just so scared to stop the meds. Ughh

YAYYYY you look so good Katie!!! I'm so happy for you
you are looking AMAZING. Go to hell acne! Your lip zit looks just like mine, expect mine is on my top lip. Ouch!

Thank you Betsy! I am so happy with the way things have turned around. The lip zit was just awful. It has turned into a nice red mark now. Gotta love post-acne marks.
I’m surprised that I don’t have as many red marks. I had awful red marks on my last course. They will fade though! I promise. Mine faded nicely after stopping Accutane last time. I still want to do 6 months, but I’m not sure what will happen. I see my derm next week, too! Next Thursday, haha. I love how we all see our derms at the same time each month. I’m pretty terrified to stop the meds as well. There’s just a level of comfort that comes from being on this med. I’m not sure what will happen once I come off. It’s a scary thought. I really hope that Accutane will “cure” me of the awful acne that I had, and everyone else as well. It’s bad enough having to go on this medication once. I really hope that we can all stay clear after we’re done!
Congratulations, Katie! You look great!! So happy for you. I'm ready to get to this point
Thank you soo much! I can't believe I'm pretty much completely clear. It's awesome.
Hold on and remain patient. It's seriously one of the hardest things to do, but you WILL get to this point!

It's my day off, so I'm relaxing until I go to my friends tonight!
15 DAYS ON BEING CLEAR, WHADUP!!!!!!!
I'm so happy right now, my face feels so damn smooth, and I only have a scab, no real marks YAYYYYY.
I still have 8 1/2 weeks left, which = major healing time, and I can't wait for the end result.
I think after I'm done, I'm going to buy some glo minerals pressed base, my derm recommended it, and said it provides excellent coverage without breaking you out, and that it's for people with oily skin. I don't have oily skin even without Accutane, but I'd like a tiny bit of coverage, I definitely don't need to go back to a full coverage, which I am so amazed to say,
orrr.. do any of you girlies wear powder? If so, which one works good for just a light coverage?
AHHH I'm so happy right now.

Yay for days off! Relax away! I wish I was out floating in the lake or something. That sounds nice. I am still recovering from a sunburn ( opps ) from last friday. The back of my neck and my hairline part on my head are still red and hurt. I don't know what too do about my part, am I supposed to spray SPF on my hair? If so, that won't be happening.
I think you and I have been clear for the same amount of days! WHADUP is right! My daughter told me my face feels like baby skin!
As far as the powder thing, I think Gina is the best bet to hit up on powders. She seems to be the mineral makeup expert on here. I am sure she can tell you what you can use that would be good for your skin. Since you and only looking for light coverage I think it should be pretty easy to find something that works good for you! I do use a setting powder over my foundation but I don't want to use that after accutane. I can't wait till my marks fade away and I don't need foundation anymore. Ahhhh a girl can dream right
