Just Got Prescribed Doxy. Any Advice/results?

doxy was a miracle for me for about 6 months and then slowly i started to break out again. i just got off it after being on it for a year and will probably start accutane in a few months. those 6 months without breakouts though were some of the best times of my life. good luck!!

Doxy worked great for me. I was on 200mg a day for 4 months and I was clear those 4 months, but once I stopped, it came back. I have a doctors appointment tommorrow and Im gonna try to get back on it for 6 months this time. I hope I can get it and if I do, it works again! Good luck with your Doxy!

I had zero results from doxy. I was on it for 6 months, I am now on accutane..
Everyone is diffrent though. I would try the doxy before going the accutane route though.

Wow, judging from your picture your skin looks fabulous now also.
thank you very much but that picture was back in september before i started breaking out. my doctor put me on a low dose doxy of 50mg a day and then lately i have been cutting out sugar, caffeine and trying to limit my wheat intake. i also have upped my benzaclin to using it twice a day again and it seems to be helping. now if i can stay clear that would be nice!
