I have a phobia of needles and blood.

If you still do need to have them done, how often is it?

Thanks!

It will depend on your derm and how low your dose is. Sometimes on low doses dermatologists don't even think the blood tests are necessary because the amount of drug that is in your system at a time isn't enough to drastically change triglyceride and cholesterol levels.

On the other hand, if your derm does make you get blood tests, they will be much less frequent. For example, I just started 20mg twice a week and I only have to get a blood test once every 3 months because of the low dose.

I get mine done monthly. I started on 20mg daily (now on 60) and have to see my dr each month and have a blood test then.
