Hey, I'm new to acne.org, and I am going to start the regimen very soon. I recently received the acne.org Regimen Kit Plus in the mail. Currently I'm using 0.1% benzoyl peroxide at night, along with burt's bees sensitive facial cleanser and moisturizer. If anyone has any advice for someone who is new to the regimen, please comment! Thank you! I will post updates and what I think of the products when I begin using them. I'm giving this 4 or 5 months to work.
By the way, I have pretty mild acne. I basically just have whiteheads and blackheads, nothing inflamed, thankfully. However, it is pesky and annoying. I'm sure you all can agree.
I'll keep you posted! - WS

ANNOUNCEMENT: I won't be posting on here too often, because I don't want to clutter up Acne.org with un-useful information. I, myself find it annoying when I see topics started just to rant about how they aren't getting clear on the regimen or anything. I'll probably be posting in this log every few weeks, or whenever I feel like it.
DAY 1:
Nothing changed. I didn't apply BP in the morning, all though i probably should have, and will be doing soon just to get my skin adjusted quicker. At night, I did the regimen as instructed, with Cleanser, BP and moisturizer. I figured that the moisturizer would be enough for the small dosage of BP I was using, and that I wouldn't need to add in Jojoba. I was preparing for the absolute worst; pealing, flaking, dryness, itchiness, scaliness, redness... But when I woke up, thankfully, my skin seemed normal, with less spots and discoloration, which was a relief. I will keep you posted in a few weeks! - WS

So far, I like this regimen, and I'm going to stick to it no matter what. I really like it so far, except for 2 things, 1, that sometimes it burns very badly, which is obviously unpleasant, and 2, the moisturizer doesn't blend very well with the jojoba, and it also takes awhile to absorb into the skin. But regardless of those minor discomforts, I am pleased with this regimen so far. - WS
