Yes it got better after a few days of drinking it, when I stopped drinking it (I was drinking 3-4 cups a day) my acne got worse again..but I'm not really into the taste of it...and making it is an arse aswell.

I've broken out bad in the last 3 day's since i started taking zinc, multi vit and vit c

Gonna stop all 3 and then see how i am,but i have found it has given me HELL OF ALOT of energy..i don't think that's caffeine related,as there's only 50mg of caffeine in green tea.

So what you are all basically saying is that Green Tea bags are useless when it comes to health benefits?

My severe, cystic (adult-onset) acne totally cleared up for about 3-4 consecutive months from drinking green tea. Granted, I do a myriad of other stuff for my skin, but none of it had made a truly significant difference until I integrated green tea into my diet, drinking approx 2-3 cups per day. Contrary to what anyone else may say, I purchase(d) and suggest Lipton's green tea bags from the local supermarket. I had become a bit lax over the summer and stopped drinking it, and my cystic acne returned. I'm currently back on it, and in less than a week, my skin is clearing up well and looking decent again. Lesson learned! I have to say, though, sometimes (not always...it's highly unpredictable) the green tea makes me terribly nauseous for about 30-60 minutes after ingestion. I guess it's a catch-22. dry.gif

Liptons is bs.. buy some green tea leaves at a health food store.. just ask them.. its not hard to make.. i saw results after the first day but if i have more thhan 1 or 2 cups a day ur face will dry up internally so be aware..

I'll get right on that. Thanks. wink.gif All of those months of me not having any acne twas only a sweet illusion. I'm just teasing with you. By the way, I'm well aware of tea leaves being available at the health foods market. I visit there every week. But, as they say, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." I've done quite well with the tea bags thus far. To each his/her own. And, no, my face has not "dried up" from consuming more than 2 cups of tea per day. Everyone has different personal experiences with various products, diets, et cetera. Please do not be so dismissive of them. Thank you and best of luck to you. smile.gif

I've been drinking green tea daily for years (not for acne..just general well being). I use the tea bags. Don't see anything wrong with that. I get such a sense of well being after a cup of tea. I guess I've taught my brain that I am doing something good for my body.

As far as decaf-I've read that it has less antioxidants than regular tea, but it's still good for you. eusa_angel.gif
