So I talked to my new dermatologist and brought up how I did some research and saw Bactrim seemed to work for a bunch of people and If it would be something I should try. I have a few zits here and there, mainly on my forhead and the occasional cystic pimple every now and then. She said I could try it and gave me a 4 months prescription.

So my question is how has Bactrim worked for those of you who have taken it ? Any initial break out ? Long term results?

I love Bactrim!!!! I have no allergic reaction to it though and it was very fast acting for me....I have been on it now for about 2 years!! It workied really quickly for me too. my skin stopped breaking out within two weeks of using it with not initial flare up. I am in the process of weaning off it a little and seeing how my skin goes as I have been on it for so long but I don't really want to as it is my lifeine
