21 Year Old With Severe Acne And Scars, Need Help

4 posts in this topic

this started 6 months ago when i was peer pressured into doing testosterone cycle to get a little more muscle and i have reasons to doing so ( was 120lbs for a male my age up to 155lbs in 2 months) so after the cycle i started getting so much acne, my friend who gave me the stuff could not get me the medication i needed to restore my bodys natural hormones so i started taking anastrazole which is an anti estrogen for 40days at 1mg a day. this was the wrong way of doing it but i was scared to see a doctor and i thought it would go away. now after going through the anti estrogen it helped a little bit but its still really bad.

ive seen my doctor she did a couple blood tests on me and said im perfectly normal now and she made me appointments with an endocrinologist and skin specialist. downside is that they are 2 months and 4 months away because they are so busy.

my question is what could i do to make it better. right now im taking in 2 tbl spoons of apple cider vinigar daily, no sugar, no coffee, washing my face twice a day and moisturizing.

i have some retin a micro my last dermotologist gave me, been using it but i think its scarring my skin. should i be using it for this type of acne or what. i cant really talk to any professionals right now i just have to be patient but id like for some of this to go away its quite depressing.

yes i know i was stupid. anyone with this kind of problem could give me some advice ?

Please try Mandelic Acid serum. Nucelle is the best but there are other companies. It is the only thing that clears me and it works really fast. A thread in here is how I found out about it, by a user named ViVi. & the customer service is great.

It will unclog your pores, and exfoliate really rapidly. I put it on at night and can tell a difference in the morning. Make sure to gently slough off dead skin, because this will make you very flaky.

Oh, also, once you're clearer, Makeupartistschoice.com has been my favorite place for years. The products are very cheap, and the shipment takes only 2-3days MAX. They sell lactic acid, mandelic acid, tca and glycolic peels, among other things. Look around, but try some low percent lactic acid. It will definitely improve your skin by the time your appointments arrive!
