For someone to target you on a very sensitive subject such as acne is just plain vulgar. By default, it falls under the category of 'Bullying', but in my opinion i'd say that it is definately MUCH worse. Unfortunately it's quite common nowadays :/
Escpecially in the UK, i'm currently in highschool. My face developed acne very early and i was taunted, called names etc.
It bothered me, but i thought could live with it. After all, i'm a guy and there isn't much you can do when someone of the female gender piles on their share of daily abuse, say anything back and you have the attention of the whole class on your diseased face and can't help but feel like a plague victim, unless you're a sissy of course. :S
And then, like every other day, someone decided to ridicule me for my acne, but this time i wouldn't stand for it. I turned around to see who it was, it turned out to be a guy two years older than me and about twice the size, i walked up to him and planted my fist straight in his mouth and followed up with a uppercut blow into to his nose bone, he was hospitalised for 2 weeks. I was definately not proud of my actions, however, since that incident, nobody ever said anything like that to me ever again and i was highly respected, so in the end it did resolve some psychological and emotional problems i was going through!
I wish you the best of luck on your quest to rid yourself of acne and fight the cruel and ignorant, i hope my story will help you through it!
