Yeah sorry I went over board but I mean even mentioning your issue with the person if you`re not going to confront the individual then don`t bother. I don`t support random acts of violence I`ve just been through enough now to preach emotional, spiritual and physical self deffense when it`s rational.

^agreed with the medic. i know some ppl are saying to let it go & be the better person which is the right thing to do i get that but also not acting upon it just makes you feel like shit for weeks? months? years?? am saying this because back in high school i had to deal with same closeminded assholes. that moment for me was when i had just finished weight training class & this guy is asking for an extra shirt so i wanted to be nice & pulled a clean shirt from my locker. this fuck says out loud he doesnt want to catch my disease from my acne marks for 40 classmates to hear. now, i could of let it go but thinking i had to see this guy every day for another semester would just remind me of what he said & get me that much more depressed. i did the wrong thing & without warning or expressing my feelings i struck. obviously i saw him again but he didnt dare to even turn my way. till this day i dont feel guilty & somehow proud. i know what your going thru. since i was 11 i been struggling with acne then came red marks & scars on my cheeks. i know your feeling of depression & not wanting to be close to crowds i know that feeling man. am sorry to hear about what had happened to you in college. anyway this is not advice to start a fight am simply stating that doing nothing resolves nothing. dont let them get you down! you have alot of ppl here that know what your going thru & support you...

Yeah you get assault charges doing things like that. You can also hit someone in the head and they will collapse and bang their brain, worst case scenario being death or brain/nerve damage. That`s why if I`m confident the individual isn`t armed, or isn`t going to call all of his boys to shoot or stab me up then I`m going to yell at him. If buddy hits me, then I`ll hit back. You must use discression when defending yourself absolutely, but still...defend yourself.

believe me, i wanted to hit the kid. its not like im some little bully victim, i could have taken the whole classroom out if i wanted to. the thing is if i did that then just imagine how much attention it would bring to me. i already hate being in public because of my acne. i would rather just let this go and ignore it than have to go through even more public embarassment from my acne. but i dont know how much longer i can just ignore all this abuse i get from my acne everyday. the anger just keeps building up inside...

luckly my situation didnt get any worse but the medic is right. when anger builds up what i do to release stress is i got a punching bag & gloves ;) the only way for me to release any anger & frustration towards the world is to take it out on that punching bag. to some ppl after crying you get that feeling of relief, same feeling after you use a punching bag. its healthy, you aint harming anyone & your releasing stress. am in the same boat has yourself so your not alone! we may be strangers but everyone here & myself want to help you get thru this man..

Wow, what a bunch of insensitive, immature morons. Please don't let them get to you, they are ugly on the inside and that is worse than any skin condition.
I think you should absolutely stand up for yourself and show them how pathetic they all are. If you don't stick up for yourself, who will? Acne is only a skin condition it shouldn't hold you back from anything.

Hey empty inside what have you used so far to try to clear your acne? I tried for years and read a post on this site from some guy who started the candida diet and supplements that go along with it like probiotics and it cleared my skin. i had really bad cysts, pustules etc..... and started the diet in october of 2011 and my skin is clear. There is something out there for you that will clear your skin to some degree you have to find it. Use the anger inside of you to find a cure. I understand what you are going through i just wanted to lay down and die IT SUCKED. It is all trial and error. Get the determination and start trying different things. Eliminate certain acne causing foods like caffeine, gluten, carbs etc... and see how it goes.

I am appalled. I hope you do understand that people like that have their own problems. Please keep your head up and know you are beautiful no matter what. Pray for people like that...that's all you can really do! I am once again sorry you had to meet such evil people. Karma.

For someone to target you on a very sensitive subject such as acne is just plain vulgar. By default, it falls under the category of 'Bullying', but in my opinion i'd say that it is definately MUCH worse. Unfortunately it's quite common nowadays :/
Escpecially in the UK, i'm currently in highschool. My face developed acne very early and i was taunted, called names etc.
It bothered me, but i thought could live with it. After all, i'm a guy and there isn't much you can do when someone of the female gender piles on their share of daily abuse, say anything back and you have the attention of the whole class on your diseased face and can't help but feel like a plague victim, unless you're a sissy of course. :S
And then, like every other day, someone decided to ridicule me for my acne, but this time i wouldn't stand for it. I turned around to see who it was, it turned out to be a guy two years older than me and about twice the size, i walked up to him and planted my fist straight in his mouth and followed up with a uppercut blow into to his nose bone, he was hospitalised for 2 weeks. I was definately not proud of my actions, however, since that incident, nobody ever said anything like that to me ever again and i was highly respected, so in the end it did resolve some psychological and emotional problems i was going through!

I wish you the best of luck on your quest to rid yourself of acne and fight the cruel and ignorant, i hope my story will help you through it!

ive tried pretty much everything already to clear my acne. i tried practically all OTC items and none worked. I went to a derm who prescribed me antibiotics which worked for about 2 months then I get resistant to them. eventually I tried accutane which did absolutely nothing. diet has zero effect on my acne

Have you tried getting blood work done to see if your deficient in certain things such as vitamin D, zinc etc.. Some guy on this website had severe acne and NOTHING helped him so he tried taking zinc picolinate 150 mg and it cleared his skin after SO MANY YEARS of resistant acne. There has got to be something out there for you to either clear or lessen your degree of acne. Have you tried taking pro biotics? I hate hearing stories like yours i just want to fix it for you. You cant give up there is something out there for you, you just have to find it. PLEASE KEEP TRYING AND DONT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF.

I've never gotten blood work done but I do take zinc and a lot of other vitamins for my acne. they do help a little but but its still not enough, I have tried probiotics before and they did nothing. I appreciate you trying to help me but i am beyong help at this point. the only thing that can help me is a cure

Haha OP I know exactly what you're talking about. There were a group of three kids in elementry school who would pick on me for whataver reason (it doesn't really matter) and years later after high school I see them and they start calling me names again, it's like come on guys you're like 23 years old, when are you going to grow up? It's actually pretty funny when I think about it, grown men behaving like they're still in elementry school.
