Has anyone considered trying this? The fitness legend Jack Lalanne promoted whole body health, and part of his daily fitness regimen included facial exercises designed to tone and increase circulation to the face.
Here are some of the facial exercises from his old television series. I have been doing these exercises for about a week now and I'm experiencing very positive results. Check it out.

Yes. Red marks are fading faster, my overall complexion has improved dramatically, the wrinkles around my eyes and mouth have disappeared, and my face looks more "chiseled". The acne is healing faster, but it's too early to tell if it's going to come back or not.
I'm going to stick with it and see how much more it can improve.
If it's helping your acne it likely has something to do with increased blood flow to the face. I've not heard facial exercise be equated to positive health benefits, but I have heard it's fantastic for getting rid of facial flab; a double chin for instance. That would at the very least explain your chiseled appearance.

I would argue that anything that eliminates excess fat deposits is beneficial for your overall health. ;]
Update:
Today my skin looks amazingly "fresh". The deep furrows on my brow-line are much less prominent, I'm hoping if I keep this up they may disappear entirely!! The large cluster of red marks and active acne on my chin and upper lip (been there for two+ weeks now) are fading very rapidly. No new breakouts.
Then why do we get wrinkles in the first place... Because what that man is doing is an exaggerated from of how or face moves the entire day. And that's why we get frown lines, laugh lines and lines around our eyes.
But good for you if it's working.

Yup. When your mother told you that if you keep making that face, one day it will stay that way, she was kind of right. I try to move my forehead as little as possible (but if I get smile lines, I'm ok with that).

There is a difference between stretching your skin and building up the underlying muscle groups. A huge difference! The lowest layer of the skin called the hypodermis is directly attached to the muscle beneath it. It is common sense that as those muscle groups become more taught and firm through exercise, the skin will conform in the same way. As far as I know muscle doesn't have wrinkles... so just put two and two together.

If you both don't believe the results I'm having look at this video.... Jack did these exercises on a regular basis. His face speaks for itself at almost 90 years old!! I've seen more wrinkles on some thirty year olds =P
Have you been doing the exercises in all 30 videos or just this one?
I do all of the exercises, they aren't complicated and I do it about 15-20 minutes a day while I'm on the computer or whatever.
As I said, I've had deep wrinkles permanently etched in my forehead since I was in my early teens. They are DISAPPEARING! So yes, I will stick with what is working. =P

Do you think facial exercises would help with blue veins under the eye? I have a really bad case of this and i look like i'm ill most of the time.

I had a visible blue vein under my eye and it disappeared along with the under-eye circles circles. I use repeated "squinting" motions to tense the orbicularis oculi and work that area.
However, I will add that I don't understand why it worked for me. Logically the veins should expand with repeated tension of the muscle. So be careful.
I just had a look at the ones he does in the eye area....i simply daren't do it in case i make my blue veins even worse. If you think about it, lifting heavy weights and exercising the arms brings the veins up to the surface, wouldn't it be the same for veins near the eye?.
I can sort of see why this would help acne though, if youre bring blood to the surface of the face then it'll give you a healty glow at least.
This is awesome! That guy looks incredible for 90, this all makes perfect sense its amazing more people dont do this. Or really ever even think about it, exercising your face? lol but hey it exists and looks like it definitely works. I just did it for like 15 minutes and my face feels great lol gonna keep doing this. I often said I think a big reason for acne on the face is poor blood circulation, so exercising your face could help a lot.

Actually you've just reminded me of when the niacin craze hit these boards and a lot of people were saying how it brought a flush to their cheeks and how they thought this was what helped their helped their acne. Maybe increased blood circulation to the face does have its benefits.
