So I have a very strict regimen that I've been going after for over a year.
I wake up every morning and wash my face with Spectrojel in the shower and then I moisturise with Clinique M if I'm going out and with either Anthony's multi-purpose or Biotherm Homme at home. I do Anthony's clay mask once a week and I exfoliate with Peter Thomson Roth's anti-aging, micro Jojoba beads.
I don't pick, I don't rub, I don't scratch, I don't do anything. I am still getting cystic acne... It pops up on my nose, on my cheeks, on my nose, on the side of my nose, on my chin, and on my lips. It seems to just pop up wherever it wants to.
I'm getting really depressed about it because I'm trying to maintain my skin as well as possible.
Recently, I've decided to change my regimen. Now I'm using Peter Thomson Roth's face wash with a Clarisonic Mia twice a day, I tone with a homemade solution made of apple cider vinegar, honey, aloe vera, green tea, Vitamin E and water. I take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in the morning with all my multi-vitamins. I avoid sugar and I try to not consume anything with a lot of oil and salt in it - especially deep-fried and stir-fried food. I also moisturise with Biotherm Homme, alone.
I spot treat with the clay mask as well.
My issue is that I think the mineral oil in the Clinique M clogged up my pores causing my cystic acne. I started using it over a year ago and I don't remember ever getting it before. Right now my regimen has cleared up one side of my face and the scars are slowly going away without inflammation.
Will update on the success of my regimen as soon as this doozy gets off my cheek and nose.
End of rant: if this works and it turns out it was the Clinique causing my pores to get clogged up giving me cystic acne I am gonna get so mad. And I'm a guy. I don't know any guys as heavily invested in skin care as me.
In the meantime, does anyone have any solutions to getting rid of this cyst on my face? I've put clay on it that draws pus out but the inflammation isn't going down, I've also put apple cider vinegar on it. Cortizone shots aren't available to me because I've done that before and I didn't like how the need left a mark on my skin (since the cyst isn't that big to be a problem, yet). I would like to avoid anti-biotics as well since I'm trying to detox right now.
It will eventually go down, I know that. I was just wondering if there's any quick anti-inflammatory things I can get over the counter because this has been making me depressed for a while and I'm sinking lower and lower everyday...

Try the organic acne solution Dermify that can also be used as a cleanser and as a mask once a week. I honestly tried many products ans most of them left my skin burning, not cleared and all red. My body cannot take antibiotics so I was really desperate when my friend introduced me to Dermify. I went on amazon, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I have to say I have been amazingly surprised by how well it worked for me. After 6 weeks, my skin was clear and Iooked better than ever. Plus it is all natural so I know I am not exposing my face to any kind of harmful chemicals. Check it on Amazon and give it a try, it might work just as well for you. Hope this can be helpful, cheers!

Thanks! I've been looking for something natural like that for spot treatments since it has goldenseal, white willow, and bergamot.
Do you think it would be wise to mix that with a little tea tree oil?
