So, 5 months ago i tried using H&S on my skin (back, waist and shoulder), ( i left it on over night ), several days later, the area around waist and shoulder was badly inflamed. There were a lot of rashes, it was very itchy. Later on i only used H&S in the shower, washed it off after that. Now my skin looks like the attached photos.
Does anyone know how to fix those dark areas on my skin ?

hi thanks for the replyHow long has it been since you stopped using H&S?
Ah, when i noticed the inflammation ( it was red and very itchy at that time) i thought leaving the H&S on my skin overnight was a bad idea, i stopped doing so. After that i still used H&S on my body in the shower, wash it off after that. The itchy red spot stopped, like 3 - 4 months ago, all that left was these dark areas.
Up until now i still use H&S in the shower and wash off right after. My skin is not itchy or inflamed at all now. Just those ugly dark regions.
How long does it take for skin to recover its color after chemical inflammation ? maybe i should stop using H&S altogether ?

I use H&S for folliculitiis. Sometimes it causes irritation. I read that a pyrithizone zinc 2% bar (like ZNP or Noble) could be less irritating because there are fewer additives. You also might want to also switch to Selsun blue on different nights because I heard they skin can get used to it making it less effective.
