Hi everyone!
Well after having a clear face for a year, I recently started getting cystic acne on my cheeks. So it got me wondering about my diet. I used to drink a lot of milk however stopped. Milk free for a month now. I drink more water, never a fizzy drink person anyway, however it's cakes, biscuits and chocolate that are m weakness! I don't eat them excessively or anything, but at least once daily. Do you think these cause or are part of the cause of acne? Also I occasionally suffer from insomnia? Does lack of sleep contribute to acne?
Can you also recommend some good moisturisers which I can get from my local boots/drug-store?
Thanks so much!

Lack of sleep slows healing, and those high sugar foods can definitely contribute to the acne... try a strict low GI diet

I find that wheat, starch, grains, dairy, refined/natural sugar, dried fruit cause acne mostly. Among other things
