It's been a while since I visited to this forum! I don't break out at all like I used to. On this forum is where I learned about healthy eating and having a healthy lifestyle. I'm a vegan who eats 90% raw and I exercise. So far, my skin looks so smooth..I no longer have zits and red mark. Also, my scars minimized a bit. I do break out with tiny zits, like 1-2.. but it goes away quick. I recently stopped using proactiv after 3-4 years of using! I'm glad that I didn't break out after i stopped. I went 100% raw and used Dr.Bronner soap to not breakout and it worked! I love how my skin feels after applying this soap. I think we have acne for a reason... to eat healthy. We digest raw food better than cooked. Try eating at least 80% raw.. give it a few weeks, you'll see improvement! Hoping this works. I actually learned a lot after I left this forum for a while. I am currently reading The China Study and Eat to live to learn more. The secret to beautiful skin is to cut down animal-products/ cooked foods and consume more super foods like raw cacao, maca, chia, green smoothies, goji berries, etc. vegetables/fruits, nuts/seeds, raw coconut oil.. all raw! I'm trying to learn more new things.

Best way to make your skin smooth and clear eventually:

Plant-based diet is the best medicine for everything.. That's if you consume at least 80% raw, mainly from veggies and fruits.
Exercising: cardio is great for skin and lifting a bit.
Thinking positive and try not to stress or think about acne.

I am doing these and my skin is currently very smooth and clearing up!
I am a vegan raw 100%. I feel better, have more energy, saving animals a year, glow skin, I look younger, etc.

Nice! Have you tried raw pasta yet? You make it by cutting zucchini squash down into little squares and then marinating it in a sauce overnight (raw tomato sauce is good) so they get soft and "pasta like". It's AMAZING. I'm probably 80% raw right now and usually 95% or more in the summer.

Current Skin-Care Regimen (A work in progress):

Morning:

Gentle wash with DKR cleanser

Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% (Following Dan's Regimen)

DKR Lotion + A squirt of Argan or Grapeseed oil (The  lotion alone wasn't hydrating enough)

Skin 79 Korean BB Cream (excellent stuff)

Evening:

Gentle Wash with DKR Cleanser

Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% (Following Dan's Regimen)

DKR Lotion + A squirt of Argan or Grapeseed oil

Oh my god I'm drooling just thinking about this! I'll have to look it up. :D

Also CHEERS to you, mate, that you've found your skin bliss! Way to go.

Also--are you sprouting? If not, definitely start. :)
