good luck mini-boss, you can do dis.
yo steven i had a theory and though id come to you for some advice. ok ive read alot of info that sea water from the beach helps acne. and i have noticed that when i go to the beach in summer time i do not have one zit on my face at all. although this year is the first time that my acne has gotten to its worst starting this winter. i remember this past summer my skin was flawless. so i went down to my beach which is only 15 mins away and i got a jar full of beach water. do you think it would be a good idea to try this on as a toner? ill probably stick to just a section of my face first to try it out. what do you think? and have you heard anything about this or tried it yourself? you did say that the lake you bathed in was the only water that touched your face. was it a fresh water lake or a salt water lake? thanks bro!
The lake was freshwater. I live 10 minutes from the gulf beaches (clearwater beach near st. petersburg FL). Yes salt water is a great way to bath and salt acts as a sterilizer. I would not recommend using it as a toner though, there are a lot of nasty things in the salt water, just not salt, fish poop/piss, dead fish guts, human piss/poop, so on and so forth. You can make your own sea water at home and soak your face in it in a bowl, afterwards just rinse in off the salt, salt dries the skin so you dont want to leave it on.
Add 1/2 cup sea salt to 1 gallon of water, stir, you can also use warm water to mimic the warm ocean water.
Soak your face (hold you breath under the water in a bowl) and repeat as times as you want
Make sure to rinse it off, as salt can be very drying on your skin.
i have tried this but never for an extended period of time, it would take a little while to notice the difference, stay with it each night for at least a couple of weeks.
