Alcohol Free, Benzoyl Peroxide Gel In Uk?

7 posts in this topic

Can anyone recommend me a benzoyl peroxide gel that is alcohol free? I'm having trouble finding one on the UK market, and the one I did find, Panoxyl, unfortunately contains alcohol!

Thanks guys

You'd need to double check the ingredients :3

But the one I occasionally use is Oxy On the spot. It's 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream.

Yeah, I want to avoid cream, because of the white marks!

Well it dosen't leave white marks on my face at all.

I just rub a bit on my face & wait for it to soak into my skin & done XD

But anyway ~ good luck!

I think you will struggle to find one, alcohol is the shuttle if you will for the ingredients in the topical, it is very hard for any of the ingredients to penetrate your pores without the alcohol.

Why do you need something alcohol free? Is it because you are a Muslim. I am also a Muslim and not all alcohol is haram. Did you know almost every medicine ( e.g. cough syrups ) have alcohol in them ?

oxy on the spot gets a +1 from me as well. You are having white residual marks from the cream because you not doing it right! You apply Oxy cream and then rub it in until it completely vanishes onto your skin. You don't put a lump and leave it there! :D
