This stuff! Well, the name's a bit crude, but, look, I know cellulite doesn't just chase larger people.

Posted Image

It's actually a cellulite treatment, but skin-related so I might be okay to post it in here... Posted Image Just wanted to know if you guys have had any experience with it? I know creams and such aren't really supposed to work on cellulite (stupid thin skin... why you plague me?!) but this seems to have some good reviews. Not as good as St. Ives Cellulite Shield, but I can't get that in Australia - I can't even order it from any websites, which is a bit ridiculous.

Or anybody tried any other treatments that seem to work alright? I'm clutching at straws, today's the first day of summer and I've been running my butt off for two years and eating properly but nothing seems to put a dent in the, er, dents. Being a lady is hard!

Oh! I've tried that one. :D Actually when my cellulite wasn't so bad, so I didn't notice much of a reduction, but I didn't care so much then anyway. It's much worse now, unfortunately. The best thing about it was that it was easy to source because they sell it in supermarkets and chemists here - anything else, I have to order online.

Did you use it along with the patches? I found it worked better that way. I'd use the cream for about two weeks and then use only the patches on the more trouble some areas.

Mine didn't come with patches. I didn't even know there was such a thing. I'd need some pretty big patches for my troublesome areas. I've ordered the Fat Girl Slim stuff, so if that doesn't pan out (I'm not getting my hopes up too high - I know cellulite is basically incurable but a girl can dream, and I am dreaming hard) I'll see if I can get the patches. :D

I've tried everything. I suppose it's just my genetics. I'm very fit. Even when I was hardcore working out it those problem spots still remained. I suppose my alternative would be some sort Dr.'s visit $$$ which would be temporary. No thanks! However, sunless tanning lotion did I great job at blurring my problem spots. Honestly, they probably aren't even noticeable...just more so to you.

I'm pretty fit, too. :( Everything else I'm doing doesn't seem to work. I just want to feel like I'm doing something that might help at least a smidge. :D I'd try sunless tanning lotion but I look ridiculous with a tan despite being Australian.

I will! I'm not getting my hopes up. I do use a body brush, but not consistently enough. I have it mostly on my left thigh! My right thigh isn't too bad, it's weird... not being too graphic, but my bum on one side isn't too bad, but the other side it's like... what?! Like my backside is made from two different people. :teehee: Cellulite sucks.

I heard that drinking too much coffee and diet soft drinks can make it worse, in which case I think I'm stuffed.

Don't be too jealous; I don't tan nor do I wear a swimsuit, and I'm on Accutane as well so this summer is not going to be awesome for me. :P

Mweh, at least you can look outside and not get depressed by the look of it only :P
I've been body brushing daily for about two weeks or so, but nothing so far... I think i kind of over-brushed yesterday, cause my thigh hurts Posted Image

I have the same thing! I would feel relatively comfortable in a bikini with my right side, but my left side needs to be covered... That would look really cute on the beach Posted Image
And i love coffee Posted Image

 Imagine just wearing one pant leg. "It's the new look, seriously!"

I like the feel of body brushing but it's so tedious to do it every day. You have to do it for so long...

I love coffee too. I drink far too much of it. :( I just can't stop myself; I have them with soy milk, I sit in a cafe every lunchtime and read and drink coffee for my hour lunch break and it's the biggest thing in my day to look forward to. Without the coffee, it's just not the same. I did ask for decaf the other day, the barista (who I know quite well, since I've been going every day for three years) chuckled at me and told me I really wouldn't want the decaf so I just caved and drank the regular stuff.

Funny though, because apparently coffee grounds are good for cellulite?! What a conundrum! Why can't I take them internally?!

And the body brushing, yeah i only do it for like a minute before i step into the shower and i only do my legs, i'm too lazy to do my whole body.

And yes coffee  I know exactly what you mean, sometimes i try to have tea instead of coffee but... it's just not the same :(
When i was 17 or something i try to rub pure caffeine on my legs.. It was messy and my mother couldn't serve coffee that night.

When I'm not too lazy to do it, it's usually about a minute for each leg. Any more than that and my skin actually gets annoyed.

I drink lots of tea, too, but only because otherwise I'd never sleep at night. :P I've tried the coffee grounds thing too, because I have one of those newfangled coffee machines that grinds the beans and makes (pretty mediocre) "real coffee", but it was just gross and messy and I was pretty sure I'd end up with a blocked shower drain.

The things we do for beauty... Do you exercise a lot? I've recently started doing "anti cellulite exercises" from youtube and found out i'm very weak :P I have been doing them regularly though, so i hope it'll show of.

I do indeed exercise a lot. :) Have been for a few years, hasn't put a dent in the dents but I guess there are other benefits.

I do lunges and squats and things, those suckers are so hard! My knees suck.

do you use weights, or seek to actively build muscle? I assumed you did, but I guess I haven't actually seen any confirmation of that...

Running and magic lotions only ever worked for what i referred to as 'leftover' cellulite - meaning muscle development, water retention, skinny fat, had all been addressed. If you only run, you're going to have 'runner's' muscles. If you still have an appetite, you'll probably have some excess fat. If you combine that with a sodium binge (ahem, a monthly one) = voila, cellulite. Especially if you're predisposed to it.

so does anybody know if this stuff works for firming up the skin at all? i dont have that much cellulite but i have one leg that sags more than the other. its so odd to me and happened when i was 23. i have spent the last 11 years doing every type of exercise i can to tighten up that leg and nothing seems to work. i am 5'5" and less than 125 so not sure why the skin is sagging. when i am in a bathing suit i try to cover up that side when i stand up -ugh!!!

Ok ladies, I think I have a solution! What if you just always stand next to someone with more cellulite? Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

Is there any truth to the theory of topically applied caffeine diminishing the appearance of cellulite?
