SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW REGIMEN DATED 11/29/2011

Recently i have been battling severe acne. Always had gross acne it but about 3 weeks ago out of no where my face freaked so i started looking EVERYWHERE on line for an answer because i had had ENOUGH. I read about candida and it all made sense. I started this a week ago. I also started using DERMIFY and it is INCREDIBLE. you can order on amazon.com.

early AM
2 probiotics PB8 (good bacteria)
1 coconut oil pill (kills the bad bacteria)

regimen PM dinner time
2 probiotics PB8 (gives you back the good bacteria)
i coconut oil pill
i oregano pill (kills the bad bacteria)
3 chewable papaya tabs (to easily digest food)
1 bromelain pill (for digestion)
1 beta carotein pill (for skin)

late PM bed time
2 probiotics PB8

I also still wash with pro active and my cetaphil cleansing bar like i always have. Within 1 week (yesterday) my face has cleared up 80% and am left with ugly red marks. I wish i had taken pic's but it was hard enough just leaving the house and going to work. I cant believe it was a fungal infection. I had white heads, cysts, pustules, papules.... you name it i had it. I have also, for the past 2 weeks before i started this regimen, have been putting sea water in a big pot and submerging my face in it (we only live about an hour from the shore so we filled a huge air tight container with sea water) the salt has helped alot with healing but wasn't controlling any new acne. I drink pau d'arco tea which also kills the bad bacteria and have been staying away from carbs and sugar as much as i can and drinking alot of water. I have tried everything short of accutane and i came to the conclusion i have to fix what is wrong inside of me. I read for some people it can take a few months to see results. My husband said to me today your skin hasn't looked this good in years Posted Image. Candida can come from taking to many antibiotics, prednisone etc....I believe it was the anitbiotics that did this to me, you know the stuff that the doctor gives you go figure. Well i had to share and hope you try it, I feel like a new person. Oh and look up candida diet you will learn alot from it. I DID!!!!

UPDATE i stopped using proactive and replalced it with DERMIFY and this stuff is AMAZING.

I'm glad that you found something that worked for you. However, as a scientist, I would submit that coconut oil/oregano don't specifically kill 'bad bacteria.' Either they are acting as a broad-spectrum agent (killing a number of bacteria, good and bad) or they're really not doing anything. Unless, that is, you have some evidence that those two products only kill P. acnes or S. epidermidis. :)

thanks for the response.

Did you ever happen to take oral antibiotics before? Also, if you did, did your acne get worse after taking them, or was it already bad before taking the antibiotics?

Which coconut pills do you take?

my derm loaded me up with antibiotics about 5 years ago and it got worse and about 8 months ago i took them for a toothache and it got worse and then my ob gyn gave me spirinolactone about 2 months ago and i only took them for about a week or two and my face freaked out and just kept getting worse even when i stopped. I also started using DERMIFY, bought it off the internet, for the few zits left and ALL THE RED MARKS on my face and i cant believe it but my face is glowing and has never felt this normal EVER. dermify is all natural they say and there is no "its going to get worse before it gets better". words cant express how much all this has helped me but i hope it continues. I also forgot to say i take turmeric it is supposed to help with inflammation, i take it in pill form and bought the kind that you can use to put on food for seasoning at the health food store. As for coconut pills i just bought a bottle at the health food store it doesnt matter what kind you take. And as for the sandman i do have proof my skin. Posted Image

i have also stopped using proactive

Thank you so much for this. I have gone through something similar, my derm loaded me up with antibiotics and I have suffered the consequences ever since. I've over my problems with candida for now but still suffering from the cysts. I'm currently on an herbal regimen for acne//other health concerns but i may try some of what you recommended in combination.

Question, do you think it is mostly the herbs/probiotics that has really made a difference, or the DERMIFY? Is the Dermify like the icing on the cake? Thanks!

Definitely the probiotics has made a huge difference because i didnt start the dermify until after the probiotics and was already seeing a change. Dermify is like the icing on the cake because it is smoothing my skin out and treating what is left. I also have an underactive thyroid which can contribute to some of this so i am goig to the lab to check my vitamin d 25 hydroxy levels. Vitamin D is from what i have read a hormone so if it is low that can also contribute to acne. try also taking L Glutamine

You're a scientist? And if so what kind? and what research do you have that supports coconut oil doesn't target unwanted bacteria?

Gia, this sounds like something I might be suffering from! I can't say for sure but it seems very plausible! I started getting acne in the summer when I took an oral steroid, a immune depressent, for my poison oak, and felt sick throughout the year so my doctor has given me two long prescriptions of antibiotics so far, one for sickness and one for acne. Neither of them have helped me and I just feel soo tired! I've just felt generally groggy and enervated for months now! And my acne has just gotten worse and worse, it's now quite cystic. I'm going to at least check this stuff out, research it, and try it. Thanks!

if you look under adult acne and look for i found my acne cure by bigphil205 he talks about all of this. if you look up candida one of the symptoms is foggy head which sounds like you have. I had it and it was getting worse FELT LIKE CRAP LOL. When i started taking the probiotics in the beginning i felt crappier and my poop was gross looking but that was normai and now i have more energy than i have in years. I can only say it is working for me and i hope it keeps up. Look up candida diet it will tell you everything to do and if you take probiotics make sure you take L Glutamine. Also ask your doctor to do some basic lab work as well as your thyroid you never know or go to an endocrinologist. In the beginning i tripled the probiotics, instead of 2 a day i took 6, the guy at the health food store said to do it for a week or so and then cut down.

if you want to get rid of the cysts fast order acnomel for adults off the internet. it brings the cysts to a head in like a day or two and they go away in days instead of weeks.

i hope this post helps even 1 person cause it is helping me. I just hope it doesnt end. We all know the feeling when we start to clear up we run to the mirror in the morning with fingers crossed and a knot in your stomach hoping nothing new has emerged.

I just wish the anxiety would go away, hopefully with time Posted Image

It's a common confusion :) Either way yes, you're doing the right thing. I definitely eat coconut oil a lot but I might try it in pill form now.

If anyone is trying this please let me know your results. My skin is getting better by the day. Unbelievable i have ONE zit on face and the dermify is really getting rid of all the marks. I also went and got my vit d level checked will let you know the results when i get them. I have already started taking vit d3 about 5 or 6 days ago so not sure if that is also helping. :)

i would think taking to much of anything isn't good for you, i will eventually start only taking 2 probiotics a day like the bottle says to keep my gut normal. got my vitamin d results back and it is low so i am staying on the vitamin d also. have heard it can also help with acne. still seeing better results everyday.

NEW REGIMEN

Hi Alex
i have no acne left just the red marks. Just an update for you. this is what i am now taking.

AM- 2 probiotics, vitamin C, 1 coconut oil pill, vitamin D liquid form (liquid form best for acne), vitamin E.
PM- 2 probiotics, grapefruit seed extract, oregano pill, L Glutamine, Bromelain, Vitamin A, Papaya chewable tablets.
PM before bed- 2 probiotics, garlic pill, sometimes a tumeric pill

I am avoiding sugar and carbs and fruit as much as possible. eating gluten free and organic foods as much as possible. Also get apple cider vinegar you can dilute it with water and drink it or put it on a salad. Also if you still have cysts take a q tip and dab it in the apple cider vinegar and dab it on the cyst only a couple times because it is strong.

In the beginning i felt crappy also. The key to candida is to starve the bad bacteria/fungus so it has nothing to feed off of. Try to cut down your portions as much as possible. i am hoping to cut down on the pro biotics to maybe 3 a day but for now i am keeping my regimen the same. Just an FYI- i had a bad week not to long ago and started eating carbs and sugar etc... and started breaking out so now i am sure this was my problem all along. they say once you get rid of the candida you can start eating normal again but i plan on waiting a few more months. i def lost weight but thats ok cause i was about 123 lbs now i am about 117. DONT GIVE IN TO THE BAD FOODS ITS NOT WORTH IT. If you want something sweet i found coconut and vanilla bean ice cream no sugar added it tastes great and takes the sugar crave away. If you dont see results right away DON'T GIVE UP. Some of the sites say it is very hard to get rid of candida and can take a couple of months. Try the Dermify it works great for me but sulfur products always did for me.

Try some of the vitamins i am taking they are great for the skin especially for the vitamin d in liquid form get it at the health food store. i dont go to a big chain health food store because the mom and pop ones are much more helpful and knew all about candida.

Please let me know your progress. I am so friggin happy now Posted Image

what i am currently taking
AM- 2 probiotics, vitamin C, 1 coconut oil pill, vitamin D liquid form (liquid form best for acne), vitamin E.
PM- 2 probiotics, Vitamin A, Papaya chewable tablets.
PM before bed- 2 probiotics, evening primrose

I cut out alot of the other supplements because i no longer need them. Once in a while i will have carbs and sugar but not to much. Definitely changed my life. Still battling the few marks/scars. Started using kiss my face bar with olive and aloe because everything else was drying out my skin and is def helping.

Thank you for posting this regimen. I'm in the early stages of a different regimen, but I enjoyed reading about your success. I am currently taking pb8 and was searching for success stories.
