How do you guys remove makeup? Currently I slather on Pond's Cold Cream and press a mildly warm cleansing cloth over it. However my main concern right now is that there is mineral oil in the cream and I'm worried it might break me out..any suggestions?

I used to do this! Pond's Cold Cream is super retro and it feels like I'm pampering myself when I use it...I kind of love the stuff. Except I definitely fear the mineral oil. There has to be a reason Cold Cream was all the rage back in the day...who knows.

Your best bet is a mild makeup remover you can find at any CVS, Wal-mart, etc. Just make sure to cleanse right after. The point of the makeup remover is to remove the makeup completely. That's it's only job. Then, make sure you cleanse to remove the makeup remover residue, then tone to remove cleanser residue. That's your best bet (that, or using no makeup, no remover and no cleansing so you don't have to worry about residue--but that's probably not something you'd want to do if you like makeup).

Hmmm? I've always used my cleanser for makeup removal. Then finished with the same cleanser and done. I splash a bit of water on my eyelids and apply some CeraVe Gentle cleanser and use a soft washcloth or a cotton Makeup Removal pad to remove eye makeup. Then I do the same exact thing with my face with out water. Very much like a cold cream. Then continue with cleansing with water and a washcloth. Spray my face with some Thermal water and while still damp-not wet apply my SA lotion and eye cream. I did when I was younger use Sea Breeze to remove any lingering makeup residue. It felt nice but honest I don't think it did anything other than feel good. I have in the past used a Glycolic Toner which was okay-but a little to drying for my skin. I think toners are most def a choice-I don't think you always need them.

I use ponds make up removing wipes remove all make up then wash face.They have a off brand at dollar general that are great there DG brand an they sit right next to the ponds wipes.These have never caused me to break out Ive been using them for around 2-3 months.I havent tryed any others for my face since these do work well for me I have used some other cheap brand an they were oily so I didnt use them on my face only eyes.I do break out easily and Im very sensitive to stuff.

I've also heard of the oil cleansing method but I am so scared it'll break me out even further

I have a few favorites, but I love Dermalogica PreCleanse.

I use my Cetaphil Anti-Bacterial Cleanser for my face, and Avon eye makeup remover.

Same for me. Just my regular face cleanser.

I use a facial brush (spa sonic, clarisonic, etc) with a make up remover. Then I use a toner making sure to get everything off... I use oil (olive oil, soy bean oil, my friend even uses vegetable oil - baby oil works too) to take off eye make up. Moisturizes your eye area and does the same job as make up remover.

I rub avocado oil onto my face/eye area to break down my makeup and sunscreen and then use my MIA with a cleanser (Paula's choice Skin Recovery Cleanser). It works really well!
And pretty cheap, I got a huge bottle of the oil for $16 and it's going to last awhile.

I use these too! I felt that just a cleanser didn't completely remove my makeup so I first use the wipes then wash my face.

I do the OIl Cleansing Method when I wear makeup. Jojoba and castor oil.

If I wore a lot of makeup on my face that day (and if it actually stayed on!), I start out by using Up & Up brand eye makeup remover. Then (whether I wore makeup or not) I use Loreal Go 360 clean for sensitive skin. After that it's pretty much all gone.
