Hey there well I am 8 weeks in so far I am doing okay I have a couple of inflamed pimples with nice white spots, redness, dry skin, less oily, and itchy. I am happy to report I haven't picked. my PIH is still there I haven't notice any difference. I started my antibiotics 5 days ago as far as side affects I got a little sick yesterday I had a bad headache and felt dizzy. I am taking them in the morning 30 min before I eat. the pharmacist and the instructions said the same thing. I feel fine but I did lay down yesterday 10 min after taking them and I think that's what got me sick. my chest is doing a little better it had a relapsed lol and my back has 1 pimple on it. I am thinking of removing panoxyl from my regime because its over drying my skin I will be fine with acanya and purpose gentle cleanser in the AM in the PM it will stay the same. I also need to drink more water that's one that I have to accomplish. As far as my feelings I am in a happier place I don't feel as depressed. I am on a make up hunting mission for some good mineral makeup as well as sunscreen. I am thinking either meow, or hello minerals. I am going to post some pictures when I have a chance from my phone. excuse the pictures I have no make up and my hair osnt done yet.
I forgot I went to the allergist and so far I have no food allergies I am allergic to roachs and dust mites but nothing serious. I also made an appt with and endo my appt is on nov 27 we will see how that goes.

first one shows my left side, which broke out HORRIBLY in the first few weeks. i haven't had a pimple on that side in weeks, and the scars are almost totally gone.
second one shows my right side, which always had less acne, until a month or so ago. i still have a round mark by my nose from a big cyst/nodule but it's fading. you should also be able to see a pinkish mark around my lip where i squeezed a closed comedone that's been there for ages. not worth it, by the way! there is also some kind of stubborn plug on my cheekbone, if you can see it, which has been there forever and hopefully will go away with time if i leave it be. other than that, i have a few more clogged pores on this side on my cheek closer to my nose but they're virtually invisible (probably very deep) and i hope they come out soon!
forehead and chin are completely clear, though i only ever had very little acne on my forehead and virtually none on my chin.
last one shows my mouth, just to show how squeezing at that plug on my lip paid me back.
hope things are getting clearer for my fellow retinoid users!

unlovely- ur skin looks amazinggggg!!!! my god I wouldn't wear make up if I looked that decent without it. I remember covering my face with make up and I didn't need it now I do and I hate applying make up every damn day.
I have a pimple on the side of my nose ahh and a couple new ones but tiny I am so damn sure its the flawless makeup which is doing it but I cant seem to find something I like....

I keep reading these things about taking antibotics and im little scared I dont want my acne to get worse after I stop taking them. my face is getting a little better and I only been on them for about 2 weeks I doubt it will work that fast. I am 2 guessing taking the antibotics. I have 4 inflamed pimples and one with puss that was a deep black head. it went away and it came back. any suggestions on the antibotics?

& those ones that 'go away and come back' are deep-rooted infections. it is absolutely imperative to keep hands off of those. the reason they 'come back' is because they actually never went away and picking at them could result in plunging the infection deeper into your skin, which will mean in a few weeks or months it'll come back for revenge. and the bigger the infection gets, the bigger the blemish will be, and the more likely it is to scar. i know it's hard when all you think about is your skin, but try not to obsess. stress is an acne trigger you know, regardless of using medication.
