Anyone who has got some sort of list with high grade supps/herbs on it which are focused on liver issues?

Tyler's liver detox, liv-52, and milk thistle

From best to er, least best.

Here's a quote I found somewhere @ curezone: Fragaria is the wood-strawberry, and Vitis vinefera is the grapevine. They stimulate liver activity and build up liver capacity, so its function is more regulated and strengthened.

Actually never heard of those, do you? I wonder if anyone has got more specific information.

What herbs does Tyler's liver detox contain?

I don't have a bottle in front of me right now, but it has a ton of ingredients that aid in detoxyfying the liver...i'll try to find it later.

On another interesting note, this drug is used in europe by doctors to treat chirosis.

I'm skeptical of milk thistle. I took it for a long time and noticed no change in my health or well being.

Try it in combination with dandelion and/or celandine.

I did take it in combination with dandelion for a long time. Actually dandelion cleared me up for a month or so but the effect didn't last.
Celandine... that's one I haven't heard of. unsure.gif

Hmm, its hard to quantify without a blood test, though. I mean I feel pretty normal whether my liver is in bad shape or not (due to medications i've taken in the past). But i've never had liver problems bad enough to manifest itself in jaundice symptoms.

I'm not sure of the absolute effiacy of milk thistle , but there are a lot of reports from tyler's liver detox users of absolute turnaround in liver enzyme elevation after a few weeks of use....liv-52 is also quite good.
