Reoccuring rash on one side of face only

4 posts in this topic

Ive been to doctors, one said rosacea but on ONE side of the face and with no triggers? seemingly it gets bad when the pores clog up with dry skin but no moisturizer helped, no cleaners have helped..

The only thing that makes it go away... is hydrocortizone. Thankfully 0.5% only on a flare up makes it go away, albiet temporarily

I've never, ever had to use it on the left side of my face, only right and my face turns red and bumpy and is a little bit itchy.

The last derm wanted to cut a hole in my face and biopsy after I waited 4 months to see her, do you guys have any ideas?

I am 29 with very mild acne, good diet, exercise etc,.

Did you ever figure out the cause? This is happening to me.

I got 99 problems, but my PD ain't one.

Current Regimen (AM & PM):

Cleanse with Arbonne FC5 line

Apply ACV/water solution

Moisturize with Cetaphil

Keep it simple.

I have this on the left side of my face. I also went to the doctor and he told me to used hydrocortisone cream. That worked and then I stopped using it and it came back again. I've been using it for about a week maybe a week and a half and its yet to go away. I don't know what I should do.

My Daily Regimen

AM Regimen

Cleanser- Cetaphil Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

Benzoyl Peroxide- Dan's 2.5% BP

Moisturizer- Dan's Moisturizer with Olay Complete All-day Moisturizer with sunscreen SPF 15

PM Regimen:

Cleanser- Cetaphil Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

Benzoyl Peroxide- Dan's 2.5% BP

Moisturizer- Dan's Moisturizer or Dan's AHA+ (1 or 2 times/week)

It might be as a result of heat. Maybe you lie frequently with that side of your face always down.
