Keep fighting!

I'm on day 13 I think, not really keeping an exact count. While I've had the determination to restrain myself, I don't feel like much progress has been made. I'm still tempted at times and sometimes I catch myself trying to pick something without even thinking about it. I hope it'll pass eventually.

i'm relapsing as well. in lack of better words: it just totally sucks.

partly sick of myself not being able to change, partly happy to be able to jump back on the proverbial waggon and not giving up.

what really works for me is to do stuff that involves my creativity and focus when i'm home alone, like writing or drawing, instead of watching tv or doing something mindless like that - because that just builds angst in me. So now i'm heading to the gym, and when i get back i'll keep myself busy in the kitchen.

we're gonna make it!

I failed around day 15. This (sorry about the details) huge, disgusting thing started to grow on the side of my nose, and it was just begging to be removed. And so it was. I also picked some on my feet and legs while I was at it. I'm suffering the consequences now, and it's back to square one. Luckily I started working today, so hopefully it'll take my mind off the picking urge. Fingers crossed.

I started from day 1, two hours and 40 minutes ago exactly. I hope I can last. I'm going without makeup for as long as possible as well. I'm ready to get this stuff fixed.

This is genius. I am so doing this, starting tomorrow!
I've been picking so much lately, because my skin's been really dry so the zits I get dry up and get all flaky and I keep peeling the skin off =/ It's sooo tempting...

but when there zit scabs i tend to just pick at them a teeny bit while at the TV. I dont have a serious issue....except i always fee laround my face for zits....but i want to stop this.
My Regimen:

Wash with warm wash cloth gently, than cold splash of water (no facial wash)
Mousturize with Clinique Dramatically different Mousurizer.
Apply makeup and yaddah-yaddah.
P.M.
(Showers)
Wash with Aveeno Clear Complexion Face Wash.
Clinque Darmatic. Diff. Moust.
Spot treat with TTO
(currently looking for a better spot treatment, perhaps Duac? or AHA? Message me if you have any ideas)

I managed to get to 7 days and then was feeling down due to my period probably, plus the fact that I saw pics of me from the weekend and I looked like a burns victim from the BP and ended up picking my face to shreds! sad.gif

Day 1 to infinity!

Why do you continue to pick at your pimples it only makes matters worse.
i havnt picked in 35 days and my amount of break outs are slowly decreasing,
i use to wake up to like 8 new pimples when i was a chronic picker,
now i wake up to like 1-2.
my skin has improved so much, the skin tone is really beginning to even out.

We know it makes it worse but it's a habit, we don't WANT to do it, but we still do. Surely you understand that if you used to pick? It's like any bad habit really. At the time we get a sense of relief from doing it.

here ya go bro
http://www.stoppickingonme.com/
read it all, it might take you about 2 hours but its worth it and very informative.
about 3/4 into it, it writes off articles of other people their picking problems so you can easily relate.
Alot of people say it pretty much stop picking since they read it.
I havnt picked since i read it as well.

I read that already, it stopped me for about a week & then I picked again :/

On a better note I'm on day 4! And I've had a couple of spots practically begging me to pick them!
