About 1 in every 5 loads to any page located on the messageboard (phpbb2 I believe) it fails to load. Often I see a page of unknown source code (ill look at it and see if i can discover what it is if you want and you dont have any ideas) or sometimes pictures in the gallery dont appear. This can be fixed temporarily by hitting f5 (refreshing the page). It seems 100% random, though something may be causing it such as loading the page at the same time as another user (mysql not supporting more then one active user at a time? well I know it can, but is something screwed up?) or perhaps something else. Scratch that idea, its only happening in mozilla what am I thinking. Perhaps some of the php you use doesn't translate correctly into mozilla?
PHPBB2 had no known bugs with mozilla, which I would assume would turn up VERY quickly due to the fact that PHPBB2 has a dedicated section for linux, and the most popular linux browser is Mozilla.

Can any mozilla users (im using the latest version) confirm my sightings? The more active I become here the more it is starting to bother me.

I use Mozilla as well. I've seen it many times here and it was getting annoying. It's the html code.

It seems to be a .htaccess problem. I think Dan will look into the problem tomorrow morning.

clearly a mime type configuration problem. nothing to do with .htaccess.

the server isn't marking it's output as type text/html, so the browser renders it as the default type (text/plain). bing bang. probably a phb/invision board fuckup.

There IS a header "Content-Type: text/html" so I think it's something else.

Guys, I think it's fixed.

Edit: I keep getting this same problem...argh. it seems less often now, though

Edit2: I think I finally fixed it. tongue.gif
