You should do a makeup tutorial on your mermaid-y look, Bekah. tongue.gif

Thanks to Bek's recommendation of taaz.com I've been playing around with my hair for hours! lol

I will be coloring my hair at the end of next month or right at the beginning of May and I would like some opinions! I know that's far away but I'm a very cautious person and I want time to think it over. Which of these do you like the best and why? Ie. it looks good on my skin or is it a personal preference?

Some helpful background info: I am wearing colored contacts in that picture but they are my own, not from the site. My natural eyes are a dark hazel but most of the time look a medium brown.

I know I am probably the only one, but I like the blonde on you! You are stunning!
Celebrating Fishbulb to the fullest...

“... as the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song. I find I am humming softly; not to the music, but something else; some place else; a place remembered; a field of grass where no one seemed to have been; except a deer; and the memory is strengthened by the feeling of you, dancing in my awkward arms.â€

love the red .. it's a really nice color.

Hey thanks, Ariana smile.gif

Someone else liked the blonde too - kind of getting "votes" all over the place, which makes it really difficult to decide haha

Figured out the attatchments thing. Here is a pic of me from this morning. 100% no makeup, all I did to my hair is brush it that's why its so fluffy haha. I have some chin pimples that are way more red in real life and my hair is hiding a hairline breakout.

Hello, my lovely ladies! smile.gif I come to you today with a little problem.
For a while now I've been dying my hair rather auburn, but I decided I wanted to stop dying my hair.
My natural hair is now about an inch grown out, and I want to try to blend to the colors so that it's not so obvious that I'm growing my dyed hair out. What do you think would work?
I thought maybe start dying my hair with semi-permanent dye until the permanently dyed stuff grows out. Ahhh! I just don't know what to do.

Any input would be nice.

90% Clear thanks to Ortho Tri-Cyclin Lo!
Current Routine:
-Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub
-Carley's Clear and Smooth Exotic Butter Moisturizer
-Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer with SPF 30
-Clean and Clear Persa Gel Maxiumum Strength (spot treat)
-Tretinoin 0.05% (currently twice weekly at night)
-Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask (once a week)
-Everday Minerals Mineral Makeup
-Ortho Tri-Cyclin Lo

what is your natural hair color acneslayer?
I would imagine the simplest and fastest thing to do would be to re-dye the auburn part the same shade as your natural hair color (or as close to it as you can get). that way you don't have to deal with the yucky growing out bit and the color difference.
I'm no hair dye expert though, this is just my 2 cents smile.gif

My natural color is a natural medium brown.
The problem is I want to grow my hair out and stop dying it.
I just want it to look blended while it's growing out.
If I re-dye the roots with permanent dye, then that's just defeating the purpose.
Get it?

I'd say get it stripped, but that's just me. My sis dyed hers black and tried making it brown when her hair started growing back but it turned out like 3 different colors. When you go to a salon they'll strip it and tint it for you at the color you want.

Yeah I would just go to a salon and get something done with semi-permanent. I'm not sure but doing something as close as possible to your natural color might be the best solution. If your natural color is darker than your current one, I don't see why this wouldn't work. Otherwise, what Lyssa said

Finally yesterday! Haha. Been too busy with new school! It's a little dark but I haven't washed it yet so we will see tomorrow. Nice kit though, and my boyfriend's mom did end up doing it- she said the consistency was high quality. And it didn't stain! I will post pics. smile.gif

Hi everyone! I thought I'd share my eye makeup today. This is a fairly typical day for me. I like to use a skin toned shimmer on my brow bones, a shimmer gray over my lids and just above them, teal on the outer corners of my lids and blending to the middle, finishing with a blue on the corners.

Next, I line my top lids with brown liner, thinning the line as I get closer to my tear ducts. I follow this with a superficial lining underneath my lashes to fill gaps. After mascara, I swipe a bit of light blue liner under my lower lashes.

I like this look because it brings out blue or green eyes....yay, makeup!
