Hey guys,

Just wondering why is everyone saying only use a pea sized amount of retin-a/tretinoin??? Is it because that a little amount (pea sized) for the whole face works better than say 2 or 3???
I have been experimenting both 1 pea sized and 2 pea sized for my whole face and no luck sad.gif

Is it because of the irritation of more than 1 pea sized? If it is then its a worry for me because I experience absolutely no irritation.

I would appreciate it if anyone has the reason why only a pea sized is told to be used.

Well i'm using the gel so I can't really say....
Are you using the cream for acne or for scars? Because the gel is intended for use with acne and the cream is more for wrinkles and scars...
The cream doesn't work very well on acne as it is comedogenic.
But maybe as you said the pea size amount is to stop your skin from getting irritated.

I actually probably use more than a pea size amount and it doesn't irritate my skin. I'm on retin-a micro though.

Because that's all it takes, it's concentrated and using a lot more than that will hurt your skin- not help it.

Hey guys,

I have been using this tretinoin shit (retrieve cream) for like 2 months and before thast I used retin-a for a month but unfortunately that melted because I left it next to a heater and the product is totally discontinued in australia. It did absolutely nothing to my skin except make it worse and did not fade any of the marks it left on my face. So now I am using emu oil.

But thanks for the replies. Can;t wait until I chuck this crap out. Emu oil so far so good for acne marks.
