I keep wanting to try your regimen Caroline, but I keep eating soup... it's just so yummy and it's winter here...
Hope it's still going well for you, sweetie.

as soon as i wake up i will eat a fillet of salmon with a salad (usually spinach, with onions cucumbers califlower) with oil an vinegar dressing.
drink loads of water (sometimes 5-6 glasses) 2 hours later.
2 hours after water intake i will have a grilled lemon pepper chicken breast with another salad or steamed collard greens.
2 hours later i drink another huge amount of water
2 hours after this i have another meal (salmon, turkey, or grillen marinated chicken breast) with a salad or a veggie. ( my veggie choices are zuchinni, asparagus, onions, collard greens) i dont eat a wide variety of foods because i have food allergies on top of being horribly insulin resistant, so even veggies with small amounts of carbs make me so tired.
Then of course 2 hours later i drink loads of water again, i always make sure i have had alot of water before i go to bed. I do pee alot though, but im learning to deal with that
i think soon im going to split these 3 meals into 6 tiny meals a day, i will have to test my water method by stopping drinking water only 10 min before i eat anything, an waiting only an hour after i eat to drink anything. we'll see how it goes.. good luck everyone!

I have now tried this for 1,5 weeks and it is actually working! Or at least I think it's working. Haven't had a single break-out since I started, and I usually get at least a couple of new pimples every week.
I'm not as disciplined as sadcarline - I use the 10min before and 1hr after method. And I don't eat at regular times, but I do have at least 4 meals per day. It's working for me!
I'm so happy!

well, i took accutane six years ago, so that may have something to do with it>however I had to go on the med because an underlying condition caused by my diet basicallymade me get cysts and my breakouts took forever to heal (stupid ass docs who deny it and me for eating that way! boo hoo)...But now and for the past several years, my diet's great and i mainly had clogged pores or blackheads...A LOT of these went away after i upped my water drinking to three liters a day>this took a couple weeks>but after just a few days i noted an improvement.
Of course i just ate five gluten free chocolate chip cookies (gotta live a little : ) and it's that, ahem, time of the month!
also, try some witch hazel astringent....it cleans so well, it's cheap and you can get it at any drugstore.

I've started using the 2 hour rule when eating and drinking like your suggested. I started today, though I ate soup today so it might not count. However, I'm making sure I leave 2 hrs between eating and drinking and I take supplements so it's a bit tricky. I'm managing to swallow all my pills without water, kind of with food. The crazy things we do for acne!
