Good/bad, for believers in the 'refined carb' issue?

I've cut out white bread, for example - and switched to wholemeal.

Could I do the same with pasta?

I haven't eaten white pasta in ages, because of some stuff I've read on here, but I miss pasta - would eating brown/wholemeal pasta be OK, and unlikely to break me out? Or at least, be better than 'regular' pasta?

I switched over to whole wheat pasta and it tastes great! Even my kids love it. :smile:

Wholemeal pasta is better, but not by much. If you eat a small amount of it with some meat, it will not have a negative impact on your blood sugar levels. However, if you eat a big bowl of it, this will lead to a spike in blood sugar levels.

All I know is that whole wheat bread still affects me the same way as white bread, just slightly slower.
99.5% Clear (skin gets 'congested' PMS week, but no actual breakouts)

Fragrance-Free Baby Wipes + a few drops Rimmel Makeup Remover solution
3/4 AHA Toner* & 1/4 Glycerin (cotton pad) -- good toner, moisturizer, and makeup base (use less glycerin if not under makeup)
Occasional Treatments (2-3x/week): Exfoliating bp wash* in shower, 2.5% bp lotion* at night
CoverGirl TruBlend Powder Foundation

* = Klear Action Kit (Pro-Activ knockoff)

Gluten-free diet (for non-acne reasons, but it seems to have cleared my acne)
